Prizewinning Style
A prizewinning yacht built by Feadship Royal van Lent and launched in 2006, Blue Moon was named Showboats’ Best Full Displacement Motoryacht Over 56 Metres in 2006. She offers two gyms for active guests and an elevator with access to all decks. Zero Speed stabilisers mean smooth cruising in different conditions and guests can explore in style in the yacht’s original 1972 restored 28ft Riva.

Motor Yacht
Launched in 2005, the 60.35 metre superyacht Blue Moon stands testament to meticulous design by Donald Starkey and expert construction by Feadship. Custom-built, this superyacht was refitted in 2008 and is ideal for sole-family use or perfect for long-journeys with charter guests.
With space on board for 12 guests, accommodation consists of a full-beam on-deck master suite, with office and guest room / gym, measuring approximately 1200 sq ft. The grand Owner’s suite is joined by two twin cabins connected to two queen cabins to offer a layout transformation from cabin to full suite. Her layout also provides space for 13 staff of highly skilled yacht crew and her Captain, making life on the water idyllic, down to the last detail.
Her glass cylinder elevator, large skylight in the sundeck, touch-and-go helicopter pad and updated 1972 Riva tender are just some of the design elements on board. This quintessential family boat benefits from the input of designer, builder and owner. Her interiors, also created by Donald Starkey, are a rich make-up of dark woods and light creams, expertly blended to create a stately home feel on the water.

The 198-foot (60.35m) Feadship superyacht BLUE MOON is now listed for sale with Northrop & Johnson Yacht Brokers Kevin Merrigan and Wes Sanford. The yacht is listed for €43,900,000.
BLUE MOON is a truly remarkable superyacht. She was launched by Feadship in 2005, but has benefitted from constant and consistent upgrades, updates and care throughout her life courtesy of her adoring owner and her professional long-time crew. Some of her most recent modifications include a full superstructure repaint in 2018, the upgrade of her Quantum Zero Speed stabilizers to XT fin-type in 2019 and the repaint of her hull and main-deck bulwarks in 2021. The yacht’s interior and exterior both were designed by the renowned Donald Starkey. As such, BLUE MOON has won a variety of awards throughout her life, including “Best full-displacement motor yacht over 56 meters” at the 2006 ShowBoats Awards, among others.
In addition to providing the perfect on-water sanctuary for her owners, this pedigreed luxury motor yacht also has enjoyed a successful charter following. BLUE MOON’s exceptional features are certainly a draw. The yacht has a glass all-decks elevator, an observation lounge that provides sweeping views and a unique and flexible accommodations layout that can cater to almost any type of charter requirement. Furthermore, her on-deck master suite is expansive. At 1,200 square feet, it is no wonder this suite has space for a bedroom, his-and-hers en-suite bathroom, full owner’s office and a private gymnasium. The five additional staterooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, located on the lower deck can be converted to create a three-, four- or five-stateroom layout. This lower deck has an additional gym for guest use.
BLUE MOON features traditional interior styling with comfortable amenities that will delight guests. BLUE MOON IS A 2015 MODEL WITH AN INNOVATIVE LAYOUT
Blue Moon is a 48ft Leopard catamaran with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. This yacht has been meticulously designed for comfort, safety, and the blue water lifestyle and her sleek exterior and elegant lines make her an attractive choice for your perfect charter experience. Built with the pedigree that the yachting world has come to expect from Leopard this is a practical yacht with modern lines, twin cockpits and an open floor plan.
Blue Moon"s exterior is the ultimate in cruising luxury. It is easy to be impressed with the ergonomics of this yacht. It boast 360 degree visibility from the helm and has a well protected fore and aft cockpit. Once you step on the wide transoms you are only 2 steps away from direct access to the cockpit and side decks. It has versatile living space in the aft cockpit and the aft deck, the adjustable seat transforms from the usable cockpit table seating to aft deck lounging space with its pivoted bolted backrest. The raised helm station offers exceptional visibility and is easily accessed form the cockpit and side deck. The helm seat is well protected from the elements by the hardtop. The standard electric winch and all lines led aft make short handed yacht control very manageable. From the helm seat all sail handling and engine controls are within arms length. This vessels large forward cockpit is a more private area and can be accessed from both the saloon or the foredeck. This vessels layout allows you to navigate quickly from the front to the back of the boat.
Blue Moon"s interior is elegant and modern with an open plan design that creates a clear natural flow through the galley and salon area. The interior of this vessel is filled with an abundance of light and ventilation. The open saloon and galley layout allows for a modern - outdoor lifestyle with panoramic views. The forward facing navigation station accommodates a full array of electronics. The spacious interior dining can accommodate up to 8 guests and can also be converted to an optional double berth. Bedrooms are roomy with ample closet space.
Electric fans, and opening port hatches ensure lots of natural light and ventilation throughout her interior.
Blue Moon"s modern galley boasts corian countertops, a stainless steel sink with single lever mixer faucet with pull-out spray, a two drawer, front-opening stainless fridge and freezer and a three burner stove top and oven. Her galley is equipped with all the comforts of home and includes smoothie maker, microwave and coffee maker.
