The Bayfront Rooms are located in two-story buildings directly adjacent to the Mission Bay Boardwalk. The Tower Rooms are centrally located within the tower and offer guests one of several views. The accommodations are located in a two-story building and offer direct access to the sandy beaches of Mission Bay and the boardwalk.

The Bay View Suite boasts breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay. The spacious accommodations include a single bedroom with one king bed, a walk-in closet and a private balcony. Diante was fabulous! I had some specific questions about the various room categories while trying to book our stay via the hotel's website, so I ended up calling the hotel to book our stay directly through the resort. Diante was the reservations specialist who helped me over the phone and he was amazing! Diante was extremely patient and answered all of my questions, while also helping me find the perfect room for our stay. Huge thanks, Diante!! We will definitely be returning to the Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa for another vacation down the road.

The Catamaran is great for many reasons: (i) central San Diego location with quick access to vibrant Mission beach & neighborhood and directly on the more tranquil Mission bay; (ii) Intimate, tropical resort with nice pool, amenities & restaurant; (iii) a wide variety of room types - most are recently remodeled; and (iv) great service. We experienced the great service first-hand this past week as we had a room directly above a room they were remodeling and the construction noise was loud at times. The manager, Cynthia, was able to get us a new and better room to finish out our stay. We just booked our return visit in 2 months when we have to return to San Diego!
