Available for charter, the STELLA MARIS yacht is one of the best luxury vessels available to cruise around the Galapagos Islands.

The yacht was designed to be used throughout the seasons. The Longarini family commissioned the yacht, which was built by Viareggio Superyachts(VSY) in 2013.

Michela Reverberi designed her interior. The yacht was specifically designed to be environmentally friendly.

The interior of the STELLA MARIS yacht was designed by Michela Reverberi and is spacious and luxurious.

She has accommodation for 14 guests in 7 cabins and cabins for 20 crew members. Two VIP staterooms are on the main deck, and four guest cabins are located on the lower deck.

With an excellent blend of outdoor and indoor living spaces, STELLA MARIS has bridge deck dining, a bar, a spacious sundeck, and a Jacuzzi on offer.

STELLA MARIS also has an advanced electronic butler that makes guest experiences aboard the yacht pleasant and high class.

The shell doors of the tender bay open and make a unique party spot with advanced air conditioning to combat high humidity.

The interior is mostly glass, but VSY contracted an acoustic expert to make the interior as soundproof as possible

The STELLA MARIS yacht was designed to be future-proofed: the helipad can be upgraded to hold a bigger helicopter, and a future owner can upgrade the gym to two VIP cabins.

The yacht also uses an intelligent and advanced Centric system that is used for monitoring and communication.

The naval architecture was by Laurent Giles Superyacht Architects, and the exterior was designed Espen Øino International .

The STELLA MARIS yacht was built by Italian shipyard Viareggio Superyachts, VSY, and she was delivered in 2013. The shipyard takes environmental responsibility very seriously.

STELLA MARIS reflects that with a green Anchoring System that prevents damage to the seafloor, an advanced biological sewage system, and double soot scrubbers on the exhaust.

The exterior features a dark steel hull and a white aluminum superstructure.

The STELLA MARIS yacht is powered by Caterpillar engines , allowing the yacht to reach a top speed of 17kn.

At her cruising speed of 12kn, she can reach 4000 nautical miles. She has a volume of 2114 tons.

She has a beam of 12.6m, a draft of 3.7m, and a length of 72.1 m. STELLA MARIS features Zero speed stabilizer to combat water movement, offering guests a comfortable experience at anchor. She has an annual running cost of $7.5 million.

STELLA MARIS for charter

Built by the renowned shipyard Viareggio Super Yacht in 2015 in Italy, the 72m / 236’ Stella Maris is a unique, innovative and environmentally friendly super yacht of a very special general arrangement which delivers an abundance of natural light thanks to her high decks of 2.7m tall and floor to ceiling windows throughout.  

Penned by legendary super yacht designer Espen Øino with naval architecture by Laurent Giles, Stella Maris is packed with premium features including a fully certified commercial heli deck capable of carrying a EC135 helicopter, a dedicated owner's deck and saloons with 2.7 meters / 9 feet interior headroom. The interior design from the famed studios of Michela Reverberi have created a harmonious blend of elegance and comfort that make the most of the panoramic full length windows.  

The Owner has been dedicated their own private deck with a range of amenities. For example, a lobby with an office and day room, two stylish Brazilian blue marble bathrooms, a sleeping area with semicircular floor-to-ceiling windows and private deck space which includes a sunbathing area with sofas. The Owner's Suite is a private haven away from the action that this yacht can also provide. The 6 remaining guest suites are found on the main deck with four doubles and two twins which are each categorised by their own unique furnishings and fabrics.  She offers a comfortable layout for its guests thanks to the minimal noise effect and vibrations on board with a sophisticated balancing and stabilizing system on board. Her helipad can easily be converted to an entertainment area capable of accommodating 100 people.  

The large Beach Club is the perfect feature to enjoy by the water and where you will find a large list of equipment and limitless water toys, such as seabobs, jetskis Paddle boards, Kayaks and diving gear, among other, so that the experience in the water is the best it can be. Stella Maris also offers a full size Gym room fully equipped with the latest on exercise equipment.  Guests on board will be able to recover and relax in the dedicated Massage and Health Spa which includes a whirlpool jacuzzi, sauna and steam room hammam. Serenity is at the heart of this boat and guests are able to live in true luxury.

M/Y Stella Maris Interior Tour

World Yacht Group are an international brokerage firm with 6 offices located across Europe and the US. Join us as we take a look inside M/Y Stella Maris (which is currently available for charter through the brokerage).

Launched by Viareggio Superyachts ( VSY ) in 2013, The 72m Motor Yacht, Stella Maris is the shipyard’s largest custom build to date. Following the announcement of her sale earlier this year, we are taking a closer look at the M/Y Stella Maris interior design and all the luxuries she has onboard.

Her exterior:

The contours of Stella Maris, designed by Espen Øino , are radical, with strong lines and an emphasis on using glass. According to Øino, the goal was to “hit the perfect balance between form and function, innovation and technology, comfort and aesthetics.”  The DuPont Metallic Grey of her hull, which has a masculine feel, balances the off-white superstructure with the height of the topsides. Laurent Giles Naval Architects collaborated with Øino to fully utilise the 2,114 gross tonne hull.

M/Y Stella Maris Interior:

Living spaces.

Studio Reverberi’s interior design features clean, sophisticated lines, adorned with natural stones, fabrics, and veneers. These evoke freshness, lightness, and luminosity where the indoor and exterior environments meet. These design choices continue throughout the entirety of the Superyacht. Ultimately, creating cohesion and an easy and natural flow when guests are navigating the spaces.

Everything on board is built around a vertical core, which makes navigating the boat easy for both guests and crew. Encircled by a broad staircase is a glass lift, and this central circulation zone connects the areas fore and aft, port and starboard. It is a stunning feature that provides both intrigue and functionality, making it a truly brilliant addition to Stella Maris.

The two enormous, glass-walled aft saloons on her main and upper decks are perhaps the most striking aspects of Stella Maris. They provide comfort for guests in a relaxed and airy environment.

Elsewhere is the expansive sundeck and helipad, which is capable of hosting a dinner for up to 100 people. The sundeck, with its two pools and spacious lounging area, is a tranquil place for guests to relax.

Guest accommodation

The massive 2114GT interior offers accommodation for a total of 12 guests across seven cabins. F our double cabins and two twins located on the main deck provide a comfortable living space for the guests. The   Michela Reverberi -styled interior is characterised by a calming and neutral colour palette, helping foster a sense of tranquillity and peace.

Located on its own private deck, the master suite comes with an array of luxuries. It follows the same design accents found in the guest suites, helping create a singular aesthetic running throughout the vessel. With an office, two Brazilian blue marble bathrooms and a private deck with sofas and loungers, the suite is a private paradise for the owner. 

The Facilities

M/Y Stella Maris offers guests a range of luxurious amenities in addition to its amazing living quarters.

There is a fully equipped full-beam gym with the latest fitness equipment. As well as,  two well-proportioned swimming pools and a helipad certified by the Helideck Certification Agency – a certification held by only four yachts worldwide.

Vsy’s commitment to sustainability.

Alongside the luxurious amenities, M/Y Stella Maris features a wide range of technologies designed to reduce carbon footprint and encourage sustainable yachting. VSY is a pioneer in environmentally friendly yachting, ensuring all builds are as green-conscious as possible – Stella Maris is no exception. Among these is a Green Anchoring System – dynamic positioning (DPS) – used to prevent damage to the seabed that would occur from traditional anchoring.

‘For VSY, sustainability is not a luxury but a responsibility – and represents a long-term commitment originally made when the shipyard opened and which will see it as an increasingly frontline leader in this field,’ commented VSY Director Cristiana Longarini when speaking to Boat International. ‘For us, sustainability means discovering new routes and – as history teaches – courage and passion alone redesign the maps necessary for new ways forward.’

72.1m VSY STELLA MARIS Sold

Less than three months after bringing her to the market, SuperYachtsMonaco and World Yacht Group have announced the sale of award-winning superyacht, 72.1m VSY STELLA MARIS.

Launched in 2013 by Italian shipyard VSY, but presented as a 2015 registered vessel, 72.1m STELLA MARIS has been successfully sold to a private buyer. The efficient efforts of Joan Plana Palao from World Yacht Group , who represented the buyer, and Simon Ting from SuperYachtsMonaco , who represented the seller, saw STELLA MARIS’ quick sale close less than three months after she was listed for sale. Joan Plana Palao commented on the triumphant sale: ‘This is another accomplished milestone and a big step forward for World Yacht Group - where we continue to demonstrate our dedication to our clients with proven results!’ 

72.1m STELLA MARIS represents an incredible example of the meticulous superyacht craftsmanship of VSY. Featuring expert naval architecture from Laurent Giles and boasting an exceptionally sleek exterior from the world-renown architect Espen Ønio, STELLA MARIS offers her new owner plenty of elegant exterior space. Her staggered internal decks and impressive deckhead height of 2.7m, similar to those of a normal house ceiling, are fitted with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, resulting in a spacious and bright internal layout. 

The stunning interior of STELLA MARIS was carefully created by Michela Reverberi, who incorporated traditional elements of design with a truly luxurious finish. Utilising neutral modern tones, high-quality fabrics, rare woods, and natural stones, STELLA MARIS presents the ultimate peaceful haven for her new owner. Throughout her design process, STELLA MARIS remained a predominantly eco-friendly build, with ‘Green Features’ implemented ahead of her time. 

Accommodating 14 guests across seven grand cabins, STELLA MARIS offers something for everyone. Home to a large beach club and a generous amount of water toys, including jet skis and diving equipment, she is the ultimate holiday yacht. STELLA MARIS also boasts a fully operational helipad, something unique to a yacht of her size, which can be transformed into a vast entertaining area for up to 100 guests. After plenty of excitement onboard, guests can recover and unwind in the vessel's exclusive massage and health spa and sauna. There is no doubt that this stunning yacht is an impressive one too.

Stella Maris is notable for her eight cabin layout, offering great flexibility for a charter yacht of this size. Built in 2004, She offers guest accommodation for up to 16 guests with a layout comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin, four double cabins and two twin cabins. There are 10 beds in total, including 4 king, 2 queen and 4 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained including a deck jacuzzi, perfect to enjoy the scenery with your favourite drink in hand.

Stella Maris comfortably cruises at 9 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 11 knots.

Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. Guests can feel the wind in their hair and jump the waves on one of the WaveRunners. Another excellent feature are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If that isn't enough Stella Maris also features wakeboards, kayaks, fishing equipment, kneeboards and snorkelling equipment. Stella Maris has a 4.8m/15'9" Tender to transfer you from ship to shore.

The Stella Maris is a 38-meter, charter-only luxury yacht specially designed to explore the Galapagos Islands sustainably and ecologically, aiding in keeping the delicate balance of the islands in pristine condition. The Italian Yacht builder, Picchiotti built the stylish and accommodating yacht. The Stella Maris was once known as the M/Y Talon and M/Y Alta. After a significant refurbishment, the ship is now ready once more.

Available as only a charter, the Stella Maris has 7 suites in total. The Master Suite, better known as the Crown Jewel, has spectacular views of the surrounding Galapagos, and in addition, there are two VIP suites, four other suites on the lower deck, and another suite on the front main deck.

In addition to the lavish suites, the Stella Maris offers its passengers an Al Fresco dining area, a Jacuzzi on a spacious sundeck, a bar, and many more outdoor deck spaces to enjoy the refreshing elements of the surrounding Galapagos Islands.

am: Home of the famous Pinnacle Rock, Bartholomew consists of an extinct volcano with a variety of red, orange, black and even green volcanic formations. A trail of stairs leads to the summit of the volcano, boasting one of the best views of the islands. The beach is perfect for snorkeling and possible sightings of the Galapagos penguin.

pm : Galapagos Sea Lions, Blue-footed Boobies, land iguanas and Magnificent Frigatebirds are abundant on North Seymour Island. The island was formed by a series of submarine lavas containing layers of sediment that were uplifted by tectonic activity.
