BENETTI 30 Converted Luxury TUG “Vervece” for sale

Benetti 30 luxury tug.

Built as a sturdy tug by the Italian yard Benetti in 1964, Vervece completed a total refit in 2013 at the Palumbo yard in Italy, bringing her up to luxury yacht standards. Under her owner’s supervision, the interior now has a cool, calm ‘beach house’ contemporary style look. The hull of the tug is made of steel and is entirely welded. First and second superstructures are completely new and are made of welded steel.

Accommodation

Accommodation area design and layout are according to the refit project of I. Penta and F. Scardaccione architects and in accordance with RINA safety requests.

The full beam double bedded Master Stateroom with Queen Size bed features a sofa, a dressing table, his/her wardrobe and ensuite toilet with shower box. Description

Originally built as a tug boat, VERVECE accomplished a two-year major refit in 2015, that was a complex and fascinating project, almost unique for this type of vessel. Navaldesign & Consulting developed 3D design drawings, Moroso Starita studio engineered hull structural drawings and produced stability calculation. Interior designers Ida Penta and Francesco Scardaccione were responsible for the interior layout optimization and interior design. The idea was to build a ship capable of satisfying guests with desire to experience yachting without limits, by preserving the original characteristics of a tug vessel.

The original engines were replaced by 2 new Cummins engines that guarantee maximum comfort for guests and the best optimisation of fuel consumption. The engine room in the aft was re-engineered and equipped with modern machineries and equipment. This allowed to reduce the engine room’s length to the advantage of guest cabins space. lnsulation and soundproof were the main requirements of the convertion.

The exterior was equally a subject of substantial work. Main and upper decks were covered with good quality teak. The air conditioning system was designed to work in extreme weather conditions, from 50°C to -45°C, allowing custom choice of temperature and ventilation in each cabin. Air treatment ensures a very high level of comfort on board.

There is accommodation for eight guests in four cabins, comprising a master suite with a queen-sized bed, a VIP cabin with a queen-sized bed and two twin cabins.

Large areas are dedicated to living spaces on the main deck, the galley and the master cabin are situated in the middle-fore part. Two guest cabins, a VIP cabin, the Captain’s cabin and crew mess are located on the lower deck. Two crew cabins are situated in the aft part with access to the main deck. A saloon fitted with large teak table and chairs, with a corner for study is located on the upper deck. The wheelhouse is located on the upper deck and finished with white lacquered ash and teak with elements of black leather inserts, giving this space a more classic and traditional character. Captain and crew have the most advanced equipment at their disposal, and the vessel is able to navigate and be enjoyed all year round with possibility to get into any port in the Mediterranean and overseas.

VERVECE has preserved an exterior style typical of a tug boat converted to a luxury yacht, featuring multiple relaxation areas with sundecks and dining areas.

Converted tug Vervece now for sale with IYC

The 30 metre converted tug Vervece has changed central agencies and is now listed for sale by Leo Jordil at IYC in Monaco.

Originally built by Italian yard Benetti in 1964 she was transformed into a luxury yacht by Palumbo in 2013. When she was relaunched by Palumbo the yard described her as “virtually a new build”. Parts of her hull well were changed, a new superstructure was built and the engine room was rebuilt.

This yacht for sale is now powered by twin 1,000hp Cummins engines and has a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles at this speed.

Her new modern interior has been designed to provide a “beach house” atmosphere and she offers accommodation for eight guests in four cabins — a master room, VIP stateroom and two twins. All the rooms are en-suite and have 32-inch satellite televisions. An extra guest can also be accommodated with a Pullman and she has three cabins for crew.

Her interior features a spacious saloon, modern, bright galley and rustic dining table. She also has a cosy upper lounge which would be ideal either for those looking for a quiet space during the daytime or for drinks in the evening.

Vervece 's design means that she offers a huge amount of space across her three decks. Her extensive deck spaces have made her a popular event charter yacht since her transformation as she is able to accommodate up to 100 guests at the quayside.

Vervece is asking €3,500,000.
