Sail away north of Cozumel to a beautiful isolated stretch of a peninsula called “Passion Island”.  On the way enjoying the Smooth sails to Passion Island the catamaran has a capacity of 1-18 people (or Private rental available). Lounge in the front with cushions, Sit on the side chairs of the catamaran, lay out on the “open to the water” front tramps, or enjoy a shaded rear area in the back of the catamaran near the Capitan for an additional eating area or inside the cabin for dining.  Complete with 2 bathrooms and 4-6 cabins. Comfortable sailing for 5 hours in the day.  Once in the crystal waters of Passion Island enjoy the paddleboard and sea kayak.  Walk into the shallow water and access the deserted beach area. Swim, explore, and relax.  No crowds.

2 Catamaran choices: Belle 1-18 persons (private available) or Moonshine 1-24 (private available with snorkeling).

Where we meet

For the Cozumel Catamaran Sail to Passion Island Excursion, your meeting location is about a 15-minute taxi ride away from Puerta Maya and International Pier (SSA) or a 10-minute taxi ride away from Punta Langosta downtown. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

This tour is available to all cruise line passengers and guests staying locally.

You'll set off in your sleek 38' catamaran from a marina just north of downtown, only a 5-15 minute taxi ride from the cruise terminals.

After a scenic ride along Cozumel's north shore you'll arrive to Passion Island, a small sand island just off the north of the main island. Your friendly crew will drop anchor and you'll have a couple of hours for snorkeling and to eat lunch onboard.

After you've eaten your fill, you can relax again before swimming or wading to the shore of Passion Island, then take a stroll along its long beaches or simply kick back and relax on the white sand.

Don't forget to also save some time to try the kayak and stand up paddleboard, which the cataraman carries on deck! When you've finished playing, exploring and enjoying this little island paradise, it's all aboard the cataraman again, for a fun trip back with music playing and drinks flowing.

Docking back at the marina around 3pm, you'll be sad to leave this wonderful catamaran, but will return back home with the most wonderful memories of a brilliant boat trip in Cozumel.

All Inclusive Passion Island by Catamaran

Turquoise waters that don’t even look real, and white powdery sand that looks like it would melt in your hands! Isla Pasion or Passion Island is a dream!

When I travel with my kids, safety is my number one concern! That’s why I booked my Cozumel excursion with Carnival. Joining the group was so easy. We walked out of the Cozumel port and tour guides were right there waiting for us. When the entire group arrived, we boarded a Catamaran for a 45 minute beautiful ride to the island.

We spent three hours in this magical place! The all inclusive factor was especially fun for the kids as people would come around and bring them drinks even at the beach! They loved the Shirley Temples! Except for the workers, the folks on our catamaran were the only people on the island! 

We ran out to the beach as soon as we could and never wanted to leave. It was glorious!

The water was so clear! The temperature was perfect. We felt like royalty!

My younger kids played in the sand and water until we made them go eat. They didn’t want to stop even to eat!

But I was glad we didn’t miss the food! Lunch was included and available from the moment we walked onto the island until it was time to go.

Oh how I love Mexican food! The buffet was delicious. Grilled chicken and mahi-mahi, chilaquiles, potatoes with chorizo, refried beans, jicama, guacamole, chips and salsa, and so much more.

My eldest daughter Faith enjoyed the island her own way. She took walks on the beach…

and relaxed in a hammock with a book. She loved getting to relax on her own for a while!

The kayaking on the island was also included. My husband enjoyed getting out there and getting some exercise!

Joy was excited to try kayaking for the first time. She loved it!

When she was ready to relax this is the kind hammock that Joy went for!

This is not the greatest family photo, but we’re all there! I’ve been so chastised for not getting in our travel photos that I’m trying really hard to remember. 🙂

I loved every second on Passion Island! I spent my time looking at the beach and the water and watching my family live it up. Oh well, and taking photos as well! We highly recommend the All Inclusive Passion Island by Catamaran excursion for your next Carnival cruise !
