Pegasus, originally a race boat had been converted to a well designed cruiser. An ultralight with slippery lines is easily driven. Pegasus will make 200 mile days easily. She sails relatively flat and likes being in front of the fleet. Roller furling headsails include Genoa and Solent that works as a storm sail. KKMI installed a custom Ballenger mast and rigging. At the same time an extensive refit on the interior of this boat, installing custom cabinetry of burled Maple. Current owner installed an arch with solar panels and surfboard rack. Thereââ?¬â?¢s a dinghy garage for the 9ââ?¬Ë? Avon. Large scoop makes snorkeling easy. Cruise from harbor to harbor or live off the grid with solar power and 800 amps battery bank. The custom 12-volt refrigerator is so well insulated it makes ice in the tropics. Keel attachment to hull has been reinforced. Scoop has been reinforced. Double berth forward with ensuite head, and drawer and hanging locker storage. Salon has a centerline table with two fold up leaves, port and starboard settees with leather upholstery. Ladder in salon gives access to the center companionway. Galley on port with extensive counter tops, large refrigerated ice box, and double stainless steel sinks. Navigation station is aft of galley, and across to starboard is the private stateroom with double berth, drawer and hanging locker storage, and ensuite head.
