Leonardo DiCaprio e le vacanze su un superyacht al largo della Sardegna con un’amica in bikini

Come tutti, nel weekend del Memorial Day avevate in mente anche voi soltanto una cosa: dove e con chi sta facendo una crociera su un panfilo Leonardo DiCaprio ? Alla prima parte della domanda possiamo rispondere con una certa chiarezza, ma la seconda rimane ancora un po’ vaga.

Dopo la trionfale prima del suo ultimo film, Killers of the Flower Moon , al Festival di Cannes poco più di una settimana fa, il 48enne premio Oscar è rimasto nel Mediterraneo. È stato infatti avvistato, prima da TMZ e poi dal Daily Mail , a bordo di un superyacht al largo delle coste della Sardegna.

Se la vostra geografia è arrugginita, la Sardegna è la maggiore delle due grandi isole che si trovano nel Mediterraneo tra l’Italia e la Francia. La più piccola delle due, la Corsica, si trova a nord. La Corsica è una collettività territoriale francese, mentre la Sardegna è una regione italiana a statuto speciale. In effetti, è dalla Sardegna che prendono il nome le sardine (pensavo che le sardine fossero disgustose finché non ho visitato questa parte del mondo e ho semplicemente capito che non ne avevo mai mangiate di buone).

Per quanto riguarda le persone con cui la star di Titanic e Revenant andava in yacht, ahimè, non possiamo fornire alcun nome. V.F. ha contattato i suoi rappresentanti, che hanno tutto il diritto di rispondere: «Il capo è in vacanza, cosa ve ne frega?». Vi faremo sapere.

Possiamo dire, tuttavia, che se guardate le foto pubblicate dal Daily Mail , scoprirete che l’attore (che indossa un costume da bagno azzurro e, in alcuni scatti, un cappellino da baseball beige) è in compagnia di gagliardi giovanotti e una giovane donna in bikini con tanga rosa. L’agenzia di stampa britannica la descrive come una «splendida bellezza bruna che sfoggia un fisico da togliere il fiato». Chi siamo noi per dissentire?

Si ritiene inoltre che DiCaprio non sia il proprietario dello yacht.

Se ricordate, Leo ha festeggiato l’inizio del 2023 facendo una crociera su un panfilo a Saint Barts, nelle Antille, con l’allora 23enne Victoria Lamas . L’uomo ama le barche e (com’è stato notato un paio di volte) non disdegna la compagnia di giovani donne.

Per gran parte dell’anno, Leo è stato legato a Gigi Hadid , ma se si studiano con attenzione tutti i grafici e i diagrammi, c’è motivo di supporre che i due siano tornati amici. Come riportato da Page Six , al Coachella di aprile DiCaprio è stato visto in atteggiamenti «apparentemente intimi» con Irina Shayk , la modella russa di 37 anni che ha una figlia con Bradley Cooper . Leo e Irina sono vecchi amici (secondo People , uscivano insieme a Cannes nel 2015). La modella-attrice, in effetti, era presente a Cannes anche quest’anno, dove ha indossato un abito che lasciava davvero pochissimo all’immaginazione, anche per gli standard della «modella russa a Cannes».

Leonardo DiCaprio slammed as 'eco-hypocrite' after star's seen lounging on $150M super-yacht

There is perhaps no bigger climate activist in Hollywood than Leonardo DiCaprio, with the actor actively preaching about climate change and global warming as a United Nations ambassador. In fact, the 'Don't Look Up' actor had branded climate change as the "most urgent threat facing our entire species" and lectured everyone about the environmental threats in his famous Oscar acceptance speech. 

However, the 47-year-old actor is now being criticized for his hypocrisy, after he was spotted vacationing in the $150 million superyacht The Vava II, along with 24-year-old girlfriend Camila Morrone. DiCaprio has been spending his new year with his ladylove at the Caribbean island of St Bart's. The couple was spotted swimming in the waves as Morrone rocked a stunning black swimsuit. In the past, DiCaprio had been called out by environmentalists for availing his private jet to fly to global events, thereby generating an enormous carbon footprint. 

DiCaprio's present holiday home, The Vava II, happens to be one of the biggest luxury superyachts in the world. It is owned by 46-year-old Swiss pharmaceutical billionaire Ernesto Bertrarelli and is often used by celebrities to spend their vacations. Aside from the usual amenities, the 315-ft long yacht constitutes a gym, swimming pool, 'beach club', movie theater, and even a helipad. It can accommodate more than 22 guests alongside 30 crew members. 

It reportedly costs a bomb to replenish its fuel needs, as The Vava II demands fuel worth $339,712 to fill its tank. Thus one can easily guess the mammoth amount of carbon footprint left behind by the vehicle. In fact, the carbon pollution generated by the yacht by sailing only seven miles reportedly equals the carbon emission of a standard car in one year. Once loaded with 115,000 gallons of diesel, the yacht has a range of 5,700 miles. According to estimates, the Vava II generates a jaw-dropping amount of 238 kg carbon dioxide every mile. Though it has been mostly stationary in the Caribbean Sea in the recent past, fans are unwilling to absolve DiCaprio of his environmental hypocrisy.

However, DiCaprio was defended by environmentalist Sarah Clayton who remarked, "I know celebrities lead these crazy lives, but Don’t Look Up has done so much to make people aware of climate change." She referred to the actor's latest Netflix release which also stars Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Timothee Chalamet, Jonah Hill, Tyler Perry, among others. 

DiCaprio, who notably spent nearly $102 million dollars on a global eco-conservation project, is yet to address the controversy surrounding his fossil fuel pollution.

Did you have a nice little New Year’s holiday? Did you watch the whole of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in one big gulp? Maybe you drove somewhere new since flying is so complicated these days. Off to a ski resort a few hours north as the interstate flies, hm? Spent a couple precious hours on this earth drying out cold, wet socks from the last run down the mountain, maybe? Well, that all sounds lovely, but unfortunately for mere mortals everywhere, it will never be as lovely as what Leonardo DiCaprio is up to. 

Leonardo DiCaprio! He of the movies fame. You know, Titanic. What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. Catch Me If You Can. The Revenant. Most recently, the Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up . This guy, would you believe it, was on a yacht. Of course you believe it. This guy loves yachts . The man simply cannot get enough of them. He is like an oenophile, traversing the lands, grabbing up whatever fermented grapes Dionysus has left us down here. Like, if there is a rare and elegant wine, he’s tried it or wants to try it—but with yachts. 

So this week he’s been chartering Swiss billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli ’s yacht, which is called Vava II, in St. Barts. The Vava II has its own Wikipedia page . It’s reported to cost $150 million and sleep about 50 guests and crew members, and frankly, that’s a lot for a boat! Those things are on water! 

Friend and capo of the fabled Pussy Posse Lukas Haas was there, as was DiCaprio’s girlfriend, 24-year-old Camila Morrone. Per the Daily Mail , they even went shopping with the editor in chief of British Vogue, Edward Enninful, which I imagine is something like shooting hoops with LeBron James.  

Before all the shopping and the lounging on deck chairs with Haas and the strolling around St. Barts, DiCaprio celebrated New Year’s on the island alongside Jeff Bezos and partner Lauren Sanchez, Drake, and yacht owner himself Bertarelli. It is where this historic photo was taken.

I Salute Leonardo DiCaprio and His Big-Ass Yacht

The man is having the summer vacation of our dreams.

This week, he did exactly that, while cruising around the Amalfi coast in his private yacht. DiCaprio invited his dad, stepmom, and niece along for the ride. Some may find that excessive! They might wonder, Why charter a big-ass boat for just four people? Wouldn’t a smaller ship be easier to manage? I think the answer is pretty simple: Because it's fun! And Leonardo DiCaprio has yacht money! I’d do the same. Wouldn’t you?

Page Six obtained pictures from the affair, showing DiCaprio lounging around his floating estate and jumping in the choppy water.. Thankfully, there were no icebergs around to ruin the fun. This feels like a nice moment for the actor to relax after promoting his latest movie, Killers of the Flower Moon , at the Cannes Film Festival. (When I want to relax, I walk around the block and get a Big Gulp from 7/11. But, alas, this isn’t about me, and I doubt Leonardo DiCaprio drinks Big Gulps from 7/11.)

The actor's upcoming movie is based on David Grann’s popular nonfiction book, Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI . DiCaprio stars in the project alongside Robert DeNiro, Jesse Plemons, Brendan Fraser, John Lithgow, and Lily Gladstone. The crime drama follows a series of murders that affect the indigenous Osage Nation after oil is found on their land. When more and more people go missing, the FBI swoops in to investigate.

Killers of the Flower Moon will premiere in theaters on October 2. That gives good ol’ Leo at least a few more months to relax before hopping back into movie-star mode. I, for one, can’t wait to see what he does next.

Leonardo DiCaprio has been accused of being an eco-hypocrite as he was pictured on board an environmentally unfriendly superyacht during his holiday to St Barts.

The Titanic star, 47, is a celebrity UN climate change ambassador, and has openly called the issue of climate change to be ‘the most urgent threat facing our entire species’.

He's urged his fans to take action to combat climate change, with his recent role on Netflix hit Don't Look Up bringing more attention to the cause.

Despite his stance on this, he spent some time enjoying the luxuries of the the 315ft, £110 million Vava II superyacht - which produces as much carbon from sailing seven miles as the average car produces in a year - during his latest jaunt abroad.

The Vava II has six desks, with a helipad on the uppermost and costs a staggering £250,000 to fill its fuel tanks.

Alongside his 24-year-old girlfriend Camila Morrone, Leonardo, 47, has been holidaying near the 'playground for the world's billionaires' island St Barts in the Caribbean, since New Year's Eve.

The couple were seen together on the Vava II superyacht - the largest yacht to be manufactured in Britain - with friends, with the huge yacht being own by Swiss pharmaceutical billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli, 46.

With a gym, swimming pool, cinema and 'beach club' on board, the superyacht doesn't hold back from luxury.

The manufacturer of the yacht has said that it can hold 30 crew members and 22 guests and when filled with 523,000 litres of fuel it can travel over 5,000 nautical miles.

Leonardo and his girlfriend of five years headed into the New Year alongside celebrity friends at a Unicef gala - the guest list of the exclusive evening included singer Dua Lipa, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and boxer Mike Tyson .

Since the New Year celebration, Leonardo and Camila - the stepdaughter of Scarface star Al Pacino - have been seen enjoying time on St Barts beaches before returning to the superyacht of an evening.

It is estimated that the superyacht produces 238kg of carbon dioxide per mile - which is the same amount as an average British car would emit over the span of two months.

The Daily Mail reports that shop tracking websites have revealed the yacht to be mostly stationary, with it not travelling further than a mile a day.

Although Leonardo is being perceived by some as hypocritical for indulging in time aboard a superyacht when he is a vocal advocate for climate change, an environmentalist has leapt to Leo's defence.

Sarah Clayton, who has campaigned against airport expansions in Britain in the past, said: "I know celebrities lead these crazy lives, but Don’t Look Up has done so much to make people aware of climate change."

The actor is believed to have given £75 million of his £200 million fortune to global conservation projects in order to protect endangered species and land from developers.

It is reported that last night a source close to the actor said that was one of many guests on the yacht and that he does not own the vessel and also has not rented it.

The Mirror has reached out to Leonardo's representative for comment.

Rischia di annegare per raggiungere lo yacht con DiCaprio a Forte dei Marmi

Lo yacht, in cui risulta essere ospite l’attore Leonardo DiCaprio, da qualche giorno è ormeggiato al largo di Forte dei Marmi. La donna di 50 anni, in vacanza in Versilia e grande fan della star hollywoodiana, una volta venuta a conoscenza della sua presenza a bordo ha quindi pensato di avvicinarsi nuotando fino all’imbarcazione . Ma, mentre era in acqua, ha avuto un malore e ha rischiato di annegare .

Provvidenziale l’intervento di alcuni bagnini di uno stabilimento balneare della famosa località turistica, che l’hanno soccorsa e portata a riva in stato di ipotermia. La 50enne è stata quindi trasportata in ambulanza al pronto soccorso dell’ospedale Versilia, da cui è stata dimessa dopo i dovuti accertamenti. Stando a quanto riferito da Il Tirreno , si sarebbe lamentata per non essere stata salvata dall’equipaggio della nave.

Leonardo DiCaprio in Italia

Leonardo DiCaprio è in vacanza in Italia con la famiglia e gli amici più stretti, dove si sta godendo del meritato relax. Dopo una visita a Caserta, il 12 giugno era arrivato a Firenze, dove è stato raggiunto anche da Tobey Maguire.

Nei giorni scorsi del divo di Hollywood si era parlato anche in merito al nuovo spot della Fiat 600 , di cui l’attore è testimonial, che sarebbe stato girato in Salento. A presentarsi per l’occasione, però, non era stato DiCaprio, ma la sua controfigura.

F aites ce que je dis, mais pas ce que je fais… Léo l’écolo, ambassadeur des Nations unies sur le changement climatique, s’est fait épingler par les paparazzis en train de se la couler douce sur un mastodonte des mers très énergivore : le Vava II , propriété du milliardaire suisse Ernesto Bertarelli – qui a fait fortune dans la recherche pharmaceutique –, mesure en effet près de 100 mètres de long et produit autant de CO 2 en naviguant sur une dizaine de kilomètres qu’une voiture moyenne en un an, précise le  Daily Mail .

Le mélange des genres fait évidemment désordre, même si DiCaprio a le droit de s’octroyer des vacances comme tout le monde. Mais il aurait pu mieux choisir son point de chute… Il y a cinq ans, il s’était déjà reçu une volée de bois vert en plein Festival de Cannes en faisant un aller-retour en jet privé pour aller recevoir un prix écolo à New York – son agent avait alors tenté de désamorcer la polémique en expliquant qu’il avait profité d’un vol qui devait, de toute façon, avoir lieu… Là encore, son entourage est monté au créneau pour préciser que l’acteur n’était que l’un des nombreux invités sur le yacht et qu’il ne possédait pas le navire ni ne l’avait loué.

Faut-il jeter la pierre à DiCaprio ? Il faut lui reconnaître un réel engagement pour l’écologie, la défense de la nature et des espèces menacées à travers sa fondation philanthropique, créée en 1998 et devenue depuis une organisation majeure dans la lutte pour l’environnement. L’acteur a soutenu des dizaines de projets dans une cinquantaine de pays, comme la protection des tigres au Népal , la reforestation des forêts du Brésil, la préservation de la forêt tropicale en Indonésie , la lutte contre le braconnage au Gabon , la mise en place de la plus grande réserve maritime du monde dans le Pacifique… Au total, à date, ce sont 80 millions d’euros qui ont été investis sous forme de dons dans la protection de la nature depuis plus de vingt ans. Cela vaut bien l’absolution.

Does Leonardo Own The Topaz And Vava II?

The first thing is that Leonardo DOES NOT OWN Topaz. The actual owner of Topaz is Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is a billionaire politician of the United Arab Emirates. Sheikh Mansour also holds the largest share in the Manchester City FC. He built the yacht in 2012 which took around $527 million. The spacious and luxurious ride accommodate 26 cabins in total. It is 482-foot long.

The vessel was accustomed to his lifestyle which sends the message of grand and luxurious living. Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan himself named the yacht Topaz as per its specifications to fit in with a luxurious lifestyle. The star and his friends took over the yacht merely to enjoy the Fifa World Cup in 2014. So far, the interior of the vessel was kept a secret from the world. DiCaprio comes in this scene like the one who rented the Yacht. Therefore, he is not the owner.

The another yacht that Leonardo DiCaprio enjoys to spend time on is the Vava II, a $150 million yacht. Again, the ‘Titanic’ star does not own the vessel. It is owned by the Swiss businessman Ernesto Bertarelli. Bertarelli is a renowned name in the pharma and drug industry. Along with his sister Dona, he owned the inherited biotech company Serono, which he sold to Merck. Later, the two founded the Bertarelli Foundation, which ironically works for marine conservation and life sciences research. In 2022, Leonardo was seen basking in the St Barts’ sun along with Camila Morone, Al Pacino’s stepdaughter in 2022.

The Specifications Of The Ships

Topaz is amongst one of the biggest super yachts which measure 453 feet in length. It took around $200 million to build this luxurious piece of heaven. The craft launched back in 2012, which gets power by four M90 engines operating on diesel. This generates approximately 48,000 horsepower. As of the sources, Leonardo rented it for the first time in 2014, two years into the launch.

The Extravagant Yacht offers smooth sailing with the installation of zero speed stabilizer. It has eight-deck levels to accommodate its hosts and guests throughout the vessel. The luxurious lifestyle of this vessel contains a cinema, two hot tubs, three swimming pools, underwater lights, air conditioning throughout, fitness hall, conference room, and the secret which is interior design.

The Vava II vessel is again a product of 2012 engineering by Devonport in the United Kingdom. A Hampshire based company RWD and Remi Tessier conceived the designs of the ship. It can carry 523,000 liters and 96,000 liters of fuel and water, respectively on board. The ship has 2 MTU engines which provides it amazing speed ranging from 15.0 kn to 19.0 kn. It ranks 84th on the list of the superyachts.

Controversies Related To The Actor And Yachts

The controversy starts with the fact that Leonardo made a plea while receiving his first eve Oscar to help fight climate change. The reason was he took a flight of 8000 miles in a private jet to reach the yacht leaving carbon footprints in the air and then to Brazil with his yacht. The Hollywood environmentalist does manage his time to receive awards for his contribution to the environment. But each trip is through private jets. This produces pollution which can’t be denied.

An environmentalist Sarah Clayton defended the star amidst the criticism for leaving heavy carbon footprints yachting in such super yachts. Sarah said, “I know celebrities lead these crazy lives, but ‘Don’t Look Up’ has done so much to make people aware of climate change”. The actor has been actively participating in activism since 2014 when he held a demonstration in 2014 with 400,000 at Manhattan while addressing the dangers of the climate change in the United Nations.

Leonardo DiCaprio has entered the villa.

The “Wolf of Wall Street” star was spotted enjoying yet another yacht day in Formentera, Spain, on Wednesday — this time joined by “Love Island” star Arabella Chi.

DiCaprio, 48, and the bikini-clad reality TV star, 32, were seen soaking up the sun as they cruised the sparkling Mediterranean Sea with his close pal Tobey Maguire, British Vogue editor Edward Enninful and other friends.

But Page Six hears the actor and Chi are just friends and not, as they say on the popular dating show, “cracking on.”

DiCaprio appeared to be keeping a low profile, wearing a cap pulled over his face to disguise himself from either the blaring sun or the paparazzi — albeit unsuccessfully.

He dressed casually in a white T-shirt, khaki shorts and white sneakers.

Meanwhile, Chi stunned in a leopard-print bikini with a matching sheer sarong around her waist. She accessorized with sunglasses, white Hermés Oran sandals ($700) and a silver Bottega Veneta Jodie leather mini handbag.

The blond beauty was seen enjoying herself on the deck of the massive floater as she showed off her curves and took a dunk in the water in her barely there thong swimsuit.

Chi, who hails from London, is known for appearing on Season 5 of “Love Island UK.” She entered the villa on day 18 and briefly coupled with Danny Williams, only to be dumped from the island a week later.

She did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Meanwhile, Maguire, 48, also wore a white tee and a baseball cap, while Enninful, 51, rocked a white button-down, shorts and stylish sunglasses.

DiCaprio, Chi, the “Spider-Man” star and the journalist were all spotted enjoying a group lunch at the luxurious eatery Es Molí de Sal, which is known for its Mediterranean cuisine and stunning views off the coast.

The Oscar-winning actor and his entourage then returned to the $180 million superyacht, dubbed “Vava,” which Swiss biotech billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli owns.

DiCaprio has been spending the summer yachting around Europe with friends. Page Six exclusively reported last week that the Hollywood icon has been prioritizing his time with loved ones as of late.

“He has been spending time with friends and family,” a source told us.

DiCaprio was spotted traipsing around St. Tropez with model pal Neelam Gill in July after sparking romance rumors a month prior, but she took to Instagram to shut down the dating chatter once and for all days later.

“Just to clear up any rumors … I am not Leonardo DiCaprio’s ‘new flame,’” the British fashion model, 28, clarified.

“In fact, I am in a committed relationship with his good friend, and have been for many months now.”

Throughout DiCaprio’s model-filled holiday, he is still rumored to be dating Gigi Hadid.

He and Hadid, 28, have been romantically linked since they  showed PDA  during Paris Fashion Week in September 2022, shortly after his breakup with his girlfriend of four years , “Daisy Jones & The Six” star Camila Morrone.

Since then, the “Titanic” star and Hadid have continued to spend time together all around the world — most recently  in the Hamptons last month.

The Los Angeles-born model model shares 2-year-old daughter Khai with her ex-partner Zayn Malik .

It may not feel like summer in the UK but celebrities are making the most of the balmy weather in Europe aboard their luxurious yachts.

Britain has been lashed with rain and gale-force winds for most of the season while Europe has been blasted with scorching heat.

Anyone who has been lucky enough to get to the continent may also spot some familiar faces out and about.

Whether it's Leonardo DiCaprio hanging out with the Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger , or Elton John with his family, there are countless celebs currently on holiday abroad in their million-pound sea vessels.

And this summer it seems that some of the biggest celebrities in the world have flocked to Europe's most idyllic spots. 

Here is a list of all the celebrity sightings this season so far.

Kris Jenner, 67, and her longtime boyfriend Corey Gamble, 42, were spotted indulging in a summer holiday to Portofino, Italy this week.

She cut a stylish figure in a slinky black cocktail dress, throwing on a matching jacket with sheer lace sleeves and strutting her stuff on a pair of flats.

Warding off the Mediterranean rays with a large pair of sunglasses, she lent a splash of glitz to the look with a chunky pair of gold earrings.

Corey meanwhile was dashing as ever in what appeared to be a silk black shirt with the top buttons left tantalizingly open over his chest.

The Rolling Stones frontman was spotted with Leonardo Di Caprio in Ibiza.

The pair were seen with an extended group of Leo's A-list pals on a boat off the party island on Wednesday including Swiss billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli and Love Island's Arabella Chi.

And Mick - who has been with partner Melanie Hamrick, 36, since 2014 - was seen chatting confidently to a brunette woman on board.

For his day out on the yacht Mick dressed in an eye-catching blue and black flower patterned shirt, light chinos and a white T-shirt.

Meanwhile Leonardo kept to his usual uniform of a white shirt and cap as the group transitioned to dry land from the yacht via a smaller boat.

Earlier this year, his daughter Jade Jagger sparked controversy in May this year after footage emerged of her being arrested on the Balearic island.

The group dined at the Es Moli de Sal Mediterranean restaurant, famed for it's breathtaking views of the sea and port.

The gang left the restaurant in good spirits and carried on the holiday vibe en route to the lavish super yacht 'Vava' where they chilled out during another sweltering hot Spanish day.
