Brand new for 2022, the first photos inside the 62m (203ft) superyacht RIO reveal her stunningly elegant interiors and exquisite design, proving she is the perfect platform for any luxury superyacht charter vacation.

Described by her builder, CRN , as a ‘nautical work of art’ superyacht RIO boasts a supremely sporty silhouette with flowing hull lines and a near-vertical bow. Her striking exterior design is a close collaboration between the shipyard and design studio Omega Architects, with Pulina Exclusive Interiors responsible for her contemporary minimalist interior styling.

The vessel follows a contemporary, yet playful theme that definitely appeals to all generations. As requested by the owner, the bright and colorful spaces were needed to create a happy atmosphere for the younger family members to enjoy.

Sleek and contemporary, M/Y RIO’S imaginative and sophisticated details combined with her exclusive, custom artworks permeate all the decks with character, catching your attention at every turn.

Standing out thanks to her distribution and quality of the spaces on board, the yacht boasts an abundance of light and large indoor and outdoor living areas that guests can use to kick back, relax and socialize during their Mediterranean yacht charter .

Accommodating up to 12 guests across one owner’s suite and five guest cabins, the yacht is extremely versatile for a variety of charter party configurations. Comprising two beautiful full beam VIPs, one on the main deck forward and the other on the lower deck and three additional suites also found on the lower deck. 

Described as a haven of privacy, the owner’s suite offers 180-degree views and private amenities such as an expansive study area and a free-standing bathtub that offers guests impeccable sea views from the comfort of a warm bath.

The main-deck spaces are fully integrated inside and out in a harmonious flow that bestows a clear sense of openness and continuity. This is particularly notable in the luminous main saloon, which the yard has described as a "single eye-catching space encapsulating all the elements of style that define the yacht's design."  

M/Y RIO exudes a supreme harmony between the ample interior and exterior spaces, evoking a strong sense of fluidity, an impression of even greater volume and a perceptual and functional unity between inside and out.

Set around a beautiful Irish green marble top table, the outdoor lounge promises to be a comfortable place where guests can be close to the American bar and immerse themselves in a lively karaoke evening or a chilled movie night. A highly versatile area, this spot is sure to be very popular with the entire charter party. 

At the bow, guests will find an expansive, open-air lounge area, spanning 115 square meters. The perfect platform for relaxation during the day, this area can also be transformed into an expansive dancefloor by night. 

One of the yacht's impeccable design features is the mooring area below the owner's deck which has been created specifically so that the crew can avoid the owner's private spaces, providing guests with the optimum levels of comfort and privacy onboard. 

Boasting a variety of water toys in the tender garage found on the foredeck, guests have the option to take out water skis and jet skis as well as enjoy the 8-meter Pascoe Beachlander tender which is stored here. In terms of wellness, the luxury charter yacht plays host to a glorious Hamman, shower and fully-equipped gym.

SEA OWL, crafted by Feadship in 2013, stands as a testament to the exceptional vision of her owners, the fastidiousness of her builder and the renowned skill of her designer. Winch Designs, responsible for both the interior and exterior design of the yacht, imbued SEA OWL with a distinctive aesthetic that captures the essence of luxury and sophistication.

Charter yacht SEA OWL is a yacht that stands out from the rest, taking inspiration from literature to infuse unique details into her design. As guests navigate the vessel, the prose from the carefully curated bookshelves seems to come alive. Each wall features handcrafted details that add to the yacht's charm and character, while intricate map replicas grace the ceilings, creating a one-of-a-kind interior.

The central staircase of this charter yacht is encircled by the remarkable Tree of Life, a breathtaking masterpiece crafted entirely from Brazilian Mahogany. The hand-carved tree is a true work of art, with intricate details that seem never-ending and captivate the eyes. SEA OWL’s creative interior decor doesn't stop there, as the custom-painted tromp l'oeil elevator provides access to every deck, showcasing another impressive detail that's sure to leave an impression.

The main salon of charter yacht SEA OWL is a beautiful and spacious area that exudes elegance and warmth. The color palette is light and neutral, featuring a cozy fireplace that adds to the welcoming ambiance. The room is filled with natural light, thanks to fully opening glass doors aft and large windows on either side. The result is an inviting space that allows guests to relax and take in the yacht’s stunning cruising grounds.

The dining area on SEA OWL is impressive, with a large custom pietre dure table and a stunning Dale Chihuly Venetian glass chandelier. The backdrop features a hand-painted mural that adds to the room's beauty. The yacht boasts seven staterooms that can accommodate up to 12 guests, each with its own unique theme, including masquerade balls and pirate tales. The master stateroom is located on the main deck and takes advantage of the full beam. There is a dedicated office showcasing a custom replica of an 18th-century French desk. The six guest staterooms are on the lower deck, and three VIP suites all have their own distinct themes. Additionally, there is a cabin that can be used for nannies, staff, or extra guests.

SEA OWL’s bridge deck is designed to be a comfortable and welcoming family gathering spot complete with a full-beam skylounge that doubles as a movie theater. There's also a spacious gym, with an adjoining massage room, where guests can stay active and relaxed while onboard. For those who wish to learn while at sea, there's a classroom that comes equipped with a hidden Murphy bed, as well as fold-out balconies for both the classroom and gym.

SEA OWL is equipped with two custom Hodgdon tenders, which are discreetly hidden in the forward garage bays. Additionally, there's a smaller 17-foot (5.2m) RIB located on the foredeck. Guests can access yacht toys via the fold-down swim platform and lazarette area, which provides seamless water access and can also be set up as a beach club at the water’s edge. Charter yacht SEA OWL is equipped with a cutting-edge surveillance and security system, ensuring optimal safety and privacy across the globe. The yacht also boasts unique sensory delights, including a baby grand Steinway and a kaleidescape system.

ROMA Yacht for Charter

The 203-foot (62m) luxury superyacht RoMa is beyond impressive. From her comfortable on-deck living areas to her contemporary interior spaces that were inspired by the ocean, RoMA provides the perfect platform for an exceptional charter experience from the moment you embark.

Launched in 2010 by Viareggio Superyachts, RoMA features impeccable design courtesy of famed Norwegian architect Espen Oeino. The yacht’s lavish, modern interior style was created by Katharina Raczek from Newcruise. She conceptualized a pristine color palate of crisp whites enhanced by golds and deep reds with hints of green. The interior décor pays homage to the sea with nuanced touches such as the main salon’s sand-like carpet and the Nautilus sea shell-like laser-cut paneling on the main staircase.

The spacious main salon is ideally suited for relaxing and socializing. The space features seating, a backlit onyx bar and coffee tables. Forward is formal dining for 12 at a beautiful circular table. The main deck also is home to the master stateroom located furthest forward. This elegant space features a king-size bed as well as a pullout sofa. Panoramic windows provide incredible views and natural light. The en-suite bathroom has his-and-hers sinks and a bathtub and a dressing room rounds out the lavish suite. Three additional en-suite staterooms also are found on the main deck. A fifth stateroom is located on the upper deck and the sixth is found below deck for added privacy. Twelve guests are comfortably accommodated on board.

RoMa’s on-board movie theater is a favorite space for guests after a day on the water. The full-beam skylounge features seating and a game table and beautiful nautical-inspired décor. Aft of the skylounge is a large alfresco dining table and built-in lounge seating. This is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor meals.

The sundeck aboard RoMa is a favorite place for guests to spend sun-soaked days. From the loungers and adjustable sunpads to the large pool and bar, what’s not to enjoy? This space also has an air-conditioned gym that offers impressive views as you work out.

RoMa comes with an outstanding inventory of water toys. Easily launched from her beautiful beach club, play with paddleboards, water skis, Jet Skis, Seabobs and snorkeling gear. The crew can set up the enormous waterslide for fast fun. A water golf game will keep everyone on their toys and the Castoldi Jet tender can take guests anywhere they want to go. RoMa is a PADI Superyacht Dive Boat and her onboard scuba instructors ensure total safety for all guests. She also is a RYA Personal Water Craft (PWC) School ensuring that all guests are able to use the Jet Skis and other toys. This striking 62m/205ft charter superyacht was built by Icon Yachts in 2013 and is constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Designed by naval architects RWD, her interior styling is the work of Cristiano Gatto Design. Her accommodation sleeps a maximum of 12 guests over eight cabins.

The main deck aft features a 'winter garden' which can be used as an internal or open-air space, with glass panels sliding back to let in the ocean air. Along the stern there is a comfortable settee and a raised table ideal for informal alfresco dining or for resting reading material, electronic gadgets and other pastimes. Two staircases connect down to the beach club and swim platform, the latter of which is deep enough to be used for sunbathing beside the water.

Charter guests have two alfresco spaces to choose from on the upper deck: The aft alfresco lounge containing a dining area with a circular table to seat 12 and stern-side seating, or the Portuguese deck which provides a quiet spot for conversation and sunbathing on the bow. On the bridge deck stern there is a selection of sun loungers and sunpads surround the aft spa pool which has panoramic aft views of the surroundings.

Above, the sundeck offers a secluded place to sit or sunbathe in privacy with elevated views of the surroundings.

On the lower deck the broad beach club contains two sofas and there is room wither side for a gym and water sports room. A passageway leads through the engine room to the guest accommodation consisting of two double cabins and two double cabins convertible to twins. Crew accommodation and facilities are located in the lower foredeck with a storage space in the bow.

On the main deck, the bow section contains the tenders, which are launched by side-opening hatches and retrieved via a winch crane. Behind, the full-beam Master suite has its own private lounge and en-suite facilities. The main salon uses art deco and Asian influences to create an inviting open-plan space. A grand table for 12 is placed forward, illuminated above by a bespoke light fixture and broad windows to port and starboard.

The aft lounge is an elegant place for guests to gather and socialise after a meal, while the corridor to the stern can be opened up to the fresh air and offers a more casual setting with two large sofas, armchairs and foot rests as well as a bar.

On the upper deck there is a spacious VIP stateroom with 280 views an an en-suite, a final VIP stateroom with en-suite facilities amidships and an aft skylounge, while the bridge deck above is dedicated to the captain's cabin, 1st officer's cabin and helm station.

2 x MTU 12V4000 M71 diesel engines each producing, 2,480 HP provide a maximum speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 6,000 nautical miles.

One of the finest and most successful charter yachts in her class, Sarah hails from one of the finest yacht builders in the world, with a renowned design team behind her innovative and family-friendly layout. Following an extensive refit in 2016, she is in great condition and ready to welcome guests on board for the trip of a lifetime.

MY Sarah: A closer look

One of Sarah's many trump cards is her sheer size. Measuring 62 metres with a volume of 1,370 GT, a beam of 11.8 metres and a draft of 3.85 metres, few other yachts in her size range come close to the volume that she has on offer. As such, Sarah is often described as a much larger vessel by those who have been lucky enough to spend time on board. Built by the Amels shipyard in the Netherlands and launched in 2002, it’s no surprise to find that everything on board is of the finest quality with no costs spared or corners cut in the making of this vessel.

Accommodating 12 guests and up to six staff on board, as well as a professional team of 21 crew, her exterior and interior designer, Donald Starkey, made the most of the available space on board. Sarah's unique, nine-cabin arrangement includes a grand full-beam master stateroom on the main deck and a selection of luxurious saloons as indoor social areas.

In regards to her technical features, Sarah is powered by twin CAT engines providing a top speed of 17 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and an impressive transatlantic range of 6,000 nm.

Spacious outdoor living

With a beam of just under 12 metres, it’s no secret where Sarah's impressive space comes from. Built on a sturdy steel hull, the same voluminous areas on the inside that makes her so appealing to charterers can also be found out on the exterior decks. The spacious sun deck is just one of many such examples on board - spanning nearly half the length of the entire yacht, you won’t find a more spacious or comprehensive outdoor entertainment space on any yacht of this size. "This deck is a favourite amongst guests, and we even had bands perform here pre or post-dinner," adds Captain Carl Carlsson.  

A 10-seater U-shaped bar serves the aft part of this deck where a comfortable built-in sun lounge area is set. The forward section of the deck, separated by an internal day head and staircase, is where guests can relax in the onboard jacuzzi which overlooks the foredeck and is surrounded by large sun pads for the entire family to relax on.

The entire upper deck one level below takes up the full beam of the vessel for the ultimate relaxation area on board. With a games table, bar, and the comfiest oversized lounge chairs that frame the room, this is the perfect place to slowly start your day or end a busy one on the water with the perfect wind down. Guests will also find two VIP suites located on either side of the superstructure that come with their own en suite bathroom and uninterrupted views as standard. The grand spiral staircase separates these two rooms and connects the lower deck at the bottom level to the sundeck all the way at the top.

Flexible, stylish accommodation

The retro classic style of Sarah's interior is a continuous theme throughout the yacht and best appreciated in the grandest spaces of them all - the master stateroom. This full-beam suite is adorned in high-quality treated woods and metal accents. The result is an interior that is dripping with glamour and style. With the master suite located in one of the quietest areas on board, it’s easy to forget you’re on a superyacht at sea here. A private entrance opens into a corridor with a third VIP suite to port and an office to starboard. The full-beam his-and-hers bathroom with views on either side is clad in marble and features a large shower and separate bath along with a vanity station.

The flexible sleeping arrangements continue on the lower deck where four twin staterooms can be found and are ideally set up for children staying on board. "I have a hard time thinking there is a better boat than Sarah when it comes to accommodating kids," comments Captain Carlsson. "The yacht has four twin bed cabins on the lower deck, which can be used for little ones as well as nannies or tutors and so on." But it's not only the guest cabins that make Sarah a favourite for family charters with young ones, as he explains. "Our deck team loves spoiling and pampering kids, and are experts at just hanging out with them. We keep kids busy with all sorts when it comes to watersports, excursions and treasure hunts and always have a lot of fun!"

Another highlight that keeps guests returning season after season is the level of service from her 20+-strong international crew and the delectable dining experiences prepared by Chef Dennis Maroudas. With rich background cooking for a list of high-profile clients from around the world, Maroudas has developed a knack for cuisine from a variety of cultures and finds inspiration in guests' most memorable moments. "I almost always ask guests to describe the cuisine they envision or to compare it to the experience of a favourite restaurant," he explains. "I then research and recreate while delivering more expectation and more emphasis."

Elsewhere on board, Sarah neatly hides her two custom tenders inside a dedicated tender garage which get launched whenever the yacht is at anchor to whisk guests to shore in the same level of luxury and style as experienced on board. Built for global cruising, the Mediterranean cruising grounds she specialises in is no match for her 6,000 nm range and with a top speed of 17 knots, hopping between popular destinations on a Mediterranean yacht charter is a breeze.

Sea Owl is a Feadship built in 2013 with exquisite attention to detail from her owners, builders and designer.
