Horizon is pleased to announce the launch of its first FD92 – motor yacht CROWNED EAGLE . Measuring 28.36 metres, she was built for an American client, featuring three decks and accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 ensuite cabins.

Spacious accommodation incorporates one on-deck owner suite as well as guests cabins on the lower deck. Two cabins, in addition, provide accommodation for a professional and trained crew of 3.

Running view

One of the main pleasure features of Crowned Eagle is her on deck Jacuzzi hot tub surrounded by seating and sun pads. The owner and the guests will enjoy the enclosed sky lounge as well as the main saloon or the numerous exterior lounging and dining areas present on board.

Large extended swim platform allows for easy access to the water and full enjoyment of the water toys. The yacht is powered by two Caterpillar C32 Acert engines of 1900 hp each.

Inside the first FD92 Horizon yacht Crowned Eagle

Taiwanese builder Horizon Yachts has revealed first-look images inside the freshly delivered first 28 metre FD92 yacht Crowned Eagle .

It comes after the yacht was delivered to American racing car driver Sandy Satullo and his partner Sandra Novaes.

Satullo described Horizon Yachts as a "truly custom builder". 

"Horizon will do as much or as little as you want and you can get as involved as much as you want to," he added. 

Indeed, the FD92 model was born from a collaboration with Satullo, who requested both an enclosed skylounge and an open flybridge. The FD92 has an “extended hullform” and a tri-deck superstructure as a result.

Based on the FD87, the FD92 is designed by long-term Horizon collaborator  Cor D Rover  and features a High-Performance Piercing Bow.

Accommodation is for a total of 10 guests in a full beam master stateroom and four lower deck guest cabins. The staff quarters meanwhile are located aft of the engine room and allow for a crew of three.

Elsewhere, the new design allows for increased exterior areas. There is a helm station, L-shaped seating, sunpad and small bar on the top deck, a six-person Jacuzzi on the foredeck and a second helm station aft of the enclosed skylounge. The aft deck is also equipped with a dining area for a total of 10 guests.

Speaking about the new model, Horizon group chief executive John Lu previously said: “The collaboration with the owner of the FD92 led not only to a yacht that met his design criteria, but also a new model for our FD Series that offers the best of indoor and outdoor living.”

The second FD92 is being built on-spec and will be launched in early 2021.

Horizon Yachts Launches FD110 Crowned Eagle

This is the second Horizon build for experienced owners, who specified numerous customizations including forward crew quarters.

Boasting a five-stateroom layout with an on-deck master suite, enclosed skylounge, beach club and crew quarters for up to six, the FD110 Tri-Deck offers superyacht amenities and high-volume space to match.

On the main deck, a companionway from the salon and dining area leads past the galley and stairwells to the owners’ master suite which has been configured to include not only a nearly full-beam his-and-hers ensuite with central shower aft, but also an incredible set of walk-in closets built into the forward bulkhead.
