Wunderschöne Lage direkt am Chiemsee, etwas abseits und deshalb sehr ruhig. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick zum See. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Einzig das Bad ist ein wenig klein. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, wirkt nicht so groß, aber es ist alles vorhanden. Nette kleine und gemütliche Hotelbar. Restaurant im Hotel hatten wir nicht genutzt, in wenigen Minuten ist man in Prien mit einigen Gaststätten, Supermärkte. Im Sommer ist das Hotel bestimmt noch attraktiver, mit dem großen Garten und dem Anlegeplatz für Boote.

Die Lage, die Freundlichkeit des Personals, die Qualität der Betten.

Es war sehr erholsam, wie immer viel zu kurz. Frühstück war sehr gut. Abendessen, für manche bestimmt gut, für uns war nichts dabei. Waren außerhalb zum Essen.

Fantastisches Frühstück, reichlich Auswahl, alles was das Herz begeht. Wir hatten ein einfaches Zimmer, aber Preis/Leistung war o.k. Die Lage ist richtig gut. Auch der Spa-Bereich hat uns gut gefallen, auch das Schwimmen abends und in der Frühe tat sehr gut. Wir würden gern öfters kommen, wenn unsere Anfahrt nicht so weit wäre.

Saubere Zimmer, tolles Essen, aufmerksames und freundliches Personal Super Lage der Hotels, direkt am See Guter Wellnessbereich mit gutem Schwimmbecken

Die Frauen an der Rezeption sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie lassen sich einen gleich willkommen fühlen. Ebenfalls die Masseurinnen sind super zuvorkommend und kompetent. Kann eine Massage nur empfehlen. Weiterhin sind die Zimmer gut ausgestattet und die Betten sehr komfortabel.

Die Freundlichkeit und das zuvorkommen des Personals war wirklich sehr klasse gewesen. Zudem hat uns der lange Zugang zum Spa und Pool Bereich sehr gefallen. Diesen konnte man bis 22 Uhr nutzen. Die Außenanlagen des Hotels war sehr gepflegt gewesen und der Blick von unserem Zimmer direkt auf den Chiemsee+Berge war Weltklasse. Erst recht, wenn die Sonne dort so wunderschön aufgegangen ist.

We stayed at the hotel and therefore decided to try the restaurant. The location is very nicely decorated with a view towards the lake and the yachtclub. The food was quite nice, well prepared and nicely presented. However, the wine list could be improved, staff... could be better trained. More

I don't know how often they do it, but it was really delicious, with several kinds of meat, loads of sauces, and some vegetarian things too (I'm not a vegetarian, so I didn't really try any of them). Salads and desserts as well. The wines... by the glass were decent. It was just under € 30 per person, not including the drinks. More

Food and service lacking. From seeing the ads for help here, I think they are turning over their kitchen so hopefully it will be better in the near future.

We had only one dinner here as we were staying in the hotel and every other evening we had dinner in town. The hotel prepare a different buffet every evening. We had the bbq one. The meat was awful and the portions small. The salad... buffet was covered by sauces and the cake display not very goid in quality. We spent 100 euros where outside in Prien in any restaurant you can feed 6 people for that amount of money. I am quite astonished of the all good reviews. I hope they are not made up reviews. It was an horrible experience apart from the two male waiters, one young and one middle age, who were very kind. More

Ask for room on Lake side of hotel. Beautiful view of sunrise and sunset on lake and many sailboats on the lake. Definitely book 2 nights--Need ONE FULL DAY to visit the Schloss Herrenchiemsee Palace on one island and you can visit one more island... with tourist sites. You may want to book 3 nights and rent a sailboat to cruise the lake or lay by lakeside in the many BLUE lounge chairs and get a TAN if you travel here in WARM weather. Very clean, modern , friendly hotel. English-speaking employees. More

Brunch on the flower-filled terrace overlooking the lake was perfect. I'll always remember scooping sweet honey right out of the comb and slathering it on hot, fresh rolls.

the location of the hotel is nice on the lake a bit away from the relatively bussy town , i went for a coffe and a traditional kasse torte in the garden of the hotel in front of the yacht marina for a very peacfull... and calm afternoon , general the atmosphere was pleasent reasonably charged at 7euros . staff were friendly and helpfull. Liebes Team, Mein Vater und ich würden sehr gerne am Freitag, den 1. Juli bei Ihnen im Blu zu Abend esse n. Bitte reservieren Sie für Freitag, den 1.Juli und Samstag, den 2. Your vacation region offers a variety of activities for every season: Mountain lovers can climb the Bavarian Alps on hikes, water sports enthusiasts get their money's worth on Lake Chiemsee and cyclists can explore the area in a relaxed manner on the hotel's own e-bikes. The air and Kneipp spa resort of Prien am Chiemsee also scores points with its picturesque town center. There are also golf courses, a climbing forest, summer toboggan run, leisure park, mini golf and cable car in the immediate vicinity. And even in winter, it's not far to the snow-covered ski areas in the surrounding area.

In the two in-house restaurants you will be spoiled culinary: The restaurant "Kitz & Gloria" is a tribute to the Bavarian nature and convinces with local specialties. The restaurant "Blu" shines in a stylish ambience of sea colors and combines Mediterranean cuisine with flavors of the Middle East. The Vinothek offers wine tastings weekly and on request (for a fee). Breakfast buffet in the "Kitz & Gloria" and with half board 4-course menu in the evening. Bar, cozy lounge with fireplace.

Wellness & Spa

The Yachthotel Chiemsee offers wellness enjoyment at the highest level. The versatile spa and wellness landscape extends over approx. 500 square meters and is divided into an indoor and outdoor area. With indoor pool, outdoor whirlpool, Finnish sauna (approx. 85-95°C), bio sauna (approx. 65-85°C), infrared cabin, salt lounge, sensorial showers and spacious hotel lawn with direct access to the lake. Various wellness treatments, e.g. massages, body peelings and wraps, detox and Ayurveda treatments, manicures, pedicures, etc., ensure greater vitality and well-being. Only organic, natural products are used for all treatments. Fitness room (7-22 hrs). Fitness classes such as yoga, meditation and Nordic Walking for a fee (in groups).

The surrounding area promises numerous activities in summer and winter: In addition to water sports such as sailing, stand-up paddling, canoeing and kayaking, there are hikes, mountain tours and skiing in the Bavarian Alps. The Yachthotel Chiemsee has compiled a selection of mountain tours in the area in its own hiking booklet with insider tips. If you prefer to explore the area by bike, you can hire an e-bike from the hotel for a fee (approx. € 39 per day, seasonal). The hotel has a special feature for golfers: In addition to the 11 surrounding golf courses, the digital indoor golf course "TrackMan4" offers an ideal training session even in bad weather (approx. € 50 per hour).

The 11 surrounding golf courses are located within a radius of approx. 40 km and are suitable for beginners, advanced players and professionals. With the Chiemsee Golfcard you receive the green fee on all courses at a reduced price (for a fee).
