During the charter you can enjoy deep sea fishing, liveaboard diving in Roatan in the most remote reefs/ shipwrecks in the Bay Islands. The large sundecks and open spaces are perfect for  groups and private parties. The Yacht is also perfect for overnight trips or picnics on the deserted cays.

We had an incredible time with Joesph and his mate. Some of the best snorkeling we’ve ever done on Infinity bay. Not to mention the sea turtle sanctuary and Hole in the Wall bar. Hands down the best way to spend the day in Roatán!

We had a great time with Joseph and Justin! Everything from the taxi that picked us up from our condo, to the fun hole in the wall restaurant we stopped at for lunch was perfect. We really enjoyed all the places we stopped to snorkel and Joseph and Justin’s knowledge of the island. Highly recommend booking them for a fun laidback tour.

Had a great time. He stayed in communication from the time I booked. Transportation to boat was arranged and planned out. Went sightseeing, snorkeling and to a cool little bar. We had a great day on the water in Roatan. Would definitely use them again if back in Roatan!

Don't look any further - book with Joseph and Justin. This was one of the top 5 days of my life. I can't really describe the magic, fun, once in a lifetime experience they gave us, so you'll have to book them for yourselves! We did a tour with snorkeling and a lunch/drink stop and I never wanted it to end.

It was a very fun, but very wet trip! No fault of Joseph, just the luck of the draw. Hole in the Wall was so much fun. Wished we had a little more sun, but Joseph made it the best he could. Great guy. Local, and knew all the spots to hit. Thank you!

This is the best cruise excursion I've ever done! We went for a boat tour of the west side of the island. Fished, and caught a 39 lbs Wahoo! Saw dolphins and ate the fish I caught at a restaurant on the beach. Steve and his team went out of their way to make this a special trip for me and my family and I'll never forget it :) Can't forget to mention he also runs an orphanage and donates 25% of all profits to his kids. The guy is a saint! Don't even hesitate on booking, I can't wait to get back there to see him again!

Barefoot Cay Marina

Located on a small Cay just of the main island of Roatan, Barefoot Cay is truly a boutique marina, featuring a lovely small hotel that consists of beautifully designed cabanas that blend into the Caribbean atmosphere of Roatan. Parrot Tree Marina

Located at the Parrot Tree Plantation Resort , this is without doubt the largest of all Roatan Marinas. Designed for a total of 130 slots, the first 20 are finished and in full operation. The Marina has a capacity for vessels between 30 and 180 feet, providing electricity, fuel, water, restaurant and bar service. A five star resort with a private beach area, lovely swimming pool and studio suites operates on the premises and provides full comport and security to guests. Roatan Sail Boat Charters- How to Rent a Sail Boat/Catamaran in Roatan

Well, to follow up on my last post about chartering a boat in Roatan, I figure I might as well include how to rent a sail boat in Roatan. First off, NO SAILING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY, all the boats come with a captain and crew. In many places in the Eastern Caribbean you can just rent a sailboat and sail it yourself. Not here, the reef is extremely shallow in Roatan and treacherous to say the least. This is evidenced by the 25 shipwrecks all around the reefs of Roatan. Captains here do offer sailing lessons aswell.

If you are in a group of 6 or less or want to do something very romantic charter the small 28 ft monohull sailboat with Captain Alex. Captain Alex is a Caribbean renissance man, having sailed his whole life. Typically you can charter the boat for 4 hours, but it is possible to charter the boat for the day or even the whole week as a live abord to go island hopping. This would be comparable in price to staying at a resort in Roatan but Infinitely more of an adventure! Also anything goes on his boat so he is great for the party crowd.

Roatan Catamaran

If you are a bigger group, or looking for more space and comfort then go for the 52 ft Catamaran with Captain Dave. Captain Dave is an American who has been sailing the Caribbean all his life. We have sent family reunions, weddings and corporate groups with him and they always come back raving. The boat can hold 35 people comfertably for a day trip. His 4 hour sunset sails include fruit skewers, snacks and all you can drink Rum and Beer. His rates are very fair aswell and about a third of what you would pay in St. Thomas, BVI, St. Marteens, Bermuda or Grand Cayman. In slow season he is open to doing liveaboards where you stay on the boat for a week and island hop to Utila, Cayos Cochinos and even Guanaja with rates that are less then staying in an all inclusive resort. There is something magical about snorkeling all day and sailing into the sunset with the sails flapping, do something different this vacation!
