Daytime Sails

Thanks for choosing Happy Hour! You are going to enjoy one of the most luxurious experiences available in Destin. In addition to letting us know what day and time you want for your Charter, we also need you to complete your purchase online and complete a Charter Agreement which is downloadable here. Every Charter must have a Charter Agreement signed before boarding the vessel. In addition to this agreement, the Captain will require a list of all passengers for the day with their name, city of residence, email and phone number.

Learn More About Our Catamaran Sailboat!

What's so great about a catamaran? A catamaran denotes a boat with two hulls or compartments that enable the vessel to displace water evenly on both sides. This design allows the catamaran to avoid rocking, as a traditional, single-hulled sailboat does. For folks on vacation--this point is a gold nugget--those that are not accustomed to boats tend to get seasick.

Why the double-hull design is a vacationers best boat friend:

Stable, non-rocking design . Why is this important? Because as the hull heaves so may your stomach.

Plenty of storage space with 2 hulls . And, if the kids fight, we can separate them.

Speed. The catamaran is twice as fast as a traditional sailboat. Save the monohull for the land turtles! (Sea turtles are fast too.)

Light footprint. A Stiletto can maneuver in shallow water due to a broader displacement of water across two lightweight hulls (Crab Island, here we come!)

Built for comfort. You aren't awkwardly lounging on a sloping deck like a monohull sailboat.

Maximized deck space. The catamaran has two opposing benches with cushions, as well as 80 square feet of trampoline for lounging and watching the waves.

If you are thinking of chartering just any ol' catamaran, let me tell you why the Stiletto brand makes this boat even groovier:

Built light for speed. Although you may want to relax on your Destin sailing cruise, never forget, this cat has speed in its back pocket. The catamaran tops out at 25 knots (20 mph). In Destin, we can safely cruise at 15 knots with the jib (front sail) raised, and feel the power.

It will never sink . Aeronautic technology is utilized in its honey comb laminate that enables the material itself to float, not relying on the intact body of the vessel. So, no matter what the Florida waters bring, this puppy floats.

Versatility of design. You can beach it; you can trailor it. When was the last time you saw a monohull sailboat pulled up on the beach or roaming down the highway? This boat goes everywhere. But watch out, you might catch catamaran fever thinking of the possibilities of where you could take it!

You are cool by proxy. Riding in our Stiletto catamaran brings you closer to the lastest version of the Stiletto XF, the foiling catamaran that once it reaches 14 knots, raises up and rides on hydrofoils, appearing to hover 2 feet above the water!

The "Best Day Ever" Sailboat Cruise, 4-6 Hour Private Charter

At Captain Jambo's, We Know How To "Do" Destin.

Here is a write-up of a much loved itinerary that

may save you from being one of the many people

who ride into the dock thinking, "I wish I had

longer on the sailboat!"

The sails are set due south from Captain Jambo's

peaceful, scenic bay dock. With tummies full of

butterflies and expectations, we sail through the

glowing, emerald waves, under the Destin Bridge,

through the Destin Pass, and East and West Jetties to the magnificent Gulf of Mexico. Here, we look for bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, and other marine life. We sail along Florida's beaches, marveling at the beauty of the water and sugar white beach. Next, the sails are set north, back through the Destin Pass to the world famous, Crab Island. This shallow, clear sandbar is a hot spot for Destin boaters' fun in the sun. Catch a margarita or some fish tacos at the festive Waterworld Restaurant and Bar. Play with the kids on the giant, inflatable waterpark. Just remember, no babysitting your pontoon boat, come and go as you please to check out the festivities, your captain will be happy to hold the anchor! After you've had your fill of Crab lsland, we sail to the nearby grassbeds for snorkeling. Crabs and fish abound here. You might even spot a majestic seahorse! Take our underwater Gro Pro camera to document your adventure! Next door is one of the few areas to find seashells in Destin, so take some souvenirs home from your hunt. When your pockets are full, we will set sails again for a relaxing sail through the calm waters of the Choctawhatchee Bay, watching the explosive

colors of the sunset on this

incredible sailing day.

the dock from where our

adventure began. Now,

the sailboat sails away,

leaving you sun-kissed

and ocean-drunk with a

General Safety Policies:

Maximum capacity on our Sailboat Charter is 6 passengers total, including children 3 years and younger. If you have a heartbeat and will wear a lifejacket during an emergency, you count as a passenger!

All Sailboat Charter passengers must remain on board for the entire duration of the cruise unless otherwise instructed by the Captain during an emergency.

Life jackets are provided for emergency use only.

Glass containers (ex. beer bottles, wine glasses, etc.) are not permitted onboard our sailboat charters.

Service Animals trained to perform a specific task related to their owner’s disability are welcome aboard. Emotional support and companion animals are not considered Service Animals and will not be permitted onboard. Passengers are responsible for the service animal’s care.

Sailboat Charter Passengers are welcome to bring their own alcohol (no glass), but they must consume responsibly. Underage drinking, belligerence, and other risky behaviors will cause the charter to return to the dock with no refund. Passengers already intoxicated will not be permitted onboard.

Our General Safety Policies are in place to protect all passengers and crew members. By confirming your reservation you agree to follow these policies. We’re looking forward to having you aboard!

The boat is amazing and the crew was phenomenal. Unbelievable experience. I booked my mastermind retreat a tour on this yacht while we were in town and everyone raved about it.

Wow, what a great day on a beautiful boat. The Captain and mate Lauren were incredibly kind. We had a wonderful champagne to begin our cruise. Shortly after we were surrounded on both sides of the boat by porpoises. Then we went tubing via jet ski! Finally, a visit to Crab island. It was just a perfect trip!!!! We will definitely recommend to our friends and return for another visit ourselves!

Fantastic first-class experience. The yacht was clean and beautiful, the crew charming, fun-loving, and knowledgeable. Our families will cherish the memory forever. I don’t know if this is normal, but we had dolphins swimming with us probably a dozen times. Oh and... BEAUTIFUL SUNSET!

One Fathom Under is a 55-foot Sea Ray Sundancer yacht that can comfortably accommodate up to 12 passengers plus crew. The lower deck is temperature controlled and features a main salon with bar seating, 2 bathrooms, 2 private staterooms, and a full galley equipped with a refrigerator, microwave/convection oven, stove top, air fryer, and ice maker. For your convenience, we provide a large deck cooler stocked with ice and water.

The main salon of One Fathom Under offers comfortable seating, 5G Wi-Fi, and a 37-inch HDTV Smart TV with streaming capabilities. The shaded upper deck features newly upholstered seating and a high-quality sound system perfect for streaming your favorite playlists. If you prefer the sun or a breathtaking scenic view, try out the bow of the boat. Enjoy dipping your feet from the swim deck off the stern of the boat into the crystal clear waters of Destin, Florida. Our hydraulic swim platform lowers and raises into the water for easier access into the water.

Extra amenities include a 6x6 inflatable floating pad, soft foam pool noodles, and miscellaneous swim gear for in-water fun. Last but not least, our crew is serious about your safety! One Fathom Under is equipped with all required certified USCG safety equipment.

Your Own Private Charter

Join Captain Bryan Klein for the adventure of a lifetime on your luxurious and spacious 24-foot Tri-Hull private pontoon charter, with plenty of lounge space in the sun and a large, shaded area under a covered canopy. Feel free to bring your drinks and snacks (glass is acceptable); we will provide a cooler full of ice for your convenience. There is a bathroom on board, with a covered private space for the ladies (with room for changing). Capt. Bryan gave us a great Sunset Cruise adventure. Having grown up in the Destin, he is very knowledgeable about the area and the marine life. He gave us a fantastic cruise! He has ice chests on hand for your snacks and drinks, has an awesome sound system for your playlists and will even take pictures of your group, if you like. He makes everyone feel right at home on the water! Will definitely book more adventures with Capt. Byran!

From the moment we got down to the docks, Captain Brian was a true Southern gentleman. Helping everyone onto the boat, placing our supplies in the cooler in his newer pontoon. He was very informative regarding the area has he has been in the Destin area from a boy. Great suggestions of what to do, restaurants, night life etc. On this particular trip we got to see dolphins, turtles, and moon jellyfish. Brian is entertaining and a wealth of information.

Nice Tri Charter Boat – Look for the Smiley Face

Nice Tri Charter Boat, Trimaran, is Smile N Wave Sailing Adventures' newest addition to Captain Pam's growing fleet. Thankfully after some trial and testimony, Captain Pam is sailing again on her new and bigger sailing charter boat, Nice Tri, geared up and ready to take you and your family on a relaxing and fun sailing adventure.

Smile N Wave Expands Fleet

Our surname boat, Smile N Wave, is out of commission until further notice. Earlier this year, the boat Smile N Wave went through a microburst, devastating the boat but thankfully, everyone was safe. We hope to bring it back as soon as possible.

About Nice Tri Charter Boat

Two nets seat 1 to 2 people per net, and it is a great way to relax and view the Gulf of Mexico and get up close and personal with our marine life. There is seating in the shade and twice the deck space as the catamaran. There is a sitting area below to get out of the elements if needed. The boat has a marine-grade toilet for urinating only.

I started Smile n Wave Sailing Adventures at the end of 2015. I never imagined God would lay it out the way he did. Through ups and downs, he has planned something bigger than I could imagine. I learned to trust him and always keep pushing. I have met the most amazing customers that have become friends through this business. I cannot imagine doing anything else, and being off the water since July 1st has had its upside and downs. I got to see my son off to college and spend time with my family. Daniel and I have poured our blood, sweat, and literal tears into Smile n Wave Sailing's new addition. It has been challenging, and I've wondered how is this going to work? Well, yall, it's working, Not on my time. So close to splashing this sweet victory, and I could not have done it without the community's support and the support of Emerald Coast Yacht and Diesel Service LLC. Thank yall. Dream big. Don't quit. Trust God with all of it. Give him the glory. Keep pushing. Big things are coming soon, so be ready.
