Bali 4.3 - Charter Croatia

BALI 4.3 MY

Power catamarans are becoming more and more popular in Croatia. Their comfort and speed with low fuel consumption makes them a perfect choice for a cruise. The power cat BALI 4.3 incorporates the best features of a motor yacht and combines it with the traditionally good characteristics of Bali sailing catamarans. | Length: 12.70 m | Beam: 7.12 m | Cabins: 4+1 | Berths: 8+1+1 |

Why are power catamarans so popular?

Advantages of power catamarans.

  • Much more space than on monohulls of the same length
  • Comfortable maneuvering - 2 seperate engines, each on each hull gives absolute comfort in maneuvering in narrow marinas.
  • Fuel economy, long distance range - Catamarans hulls are more efficient than mono-hulls, requiring less power to maintain equivalent cruising speed.
  • Stability, rough water performance and incredibly smooth ride
  • Shallow draft

A recent development in catamaran design has been the introduction of the power catamarans. In popular sailing destinations we can see more and more power catamarans. Why are they getting such popularity? What are the advantages of multihulls?  Why power catamarans are superior to mono-hull powerboats of the same length and even to much longer monohulls? We will try to answer all these questions by comparing power catamaran Lagoon Power 44 with a monohull motor yacht of similar length and then comparing it with a motor yacht twice as long. See the links below:

Compare performance of Lagoon Power 44 with performance of monohull power boat of similar length Regal Commodore 4260

LAGOON CATAMARANS - THE ART OF COMFORT

AVANT-GARDE DESIGN, CONSTANT INNOVATIONS, TECHNICAL CHOICES TO SERVE PERFORMANCE, COMFORT AT SEA, SPACE, SAFETY, RELIABILITY

Lagoon cats - Charter Croatia

It is easy to sum up Lagoon's philosophy in three words: elegance, conviviality, safety. Continuity between interior and exterior, direct and indirect lighting, ergonomics, harmonious proportions, warm atmosphere and spaciousness, Lagoons yachts were the first to value the lifestyle on board a catamaran. Today, they remain a reference and and it is not surprising that Lagoon catamarans are most popular catamarans for charter in Croatia. All Lagoon catamarans conform to EEC standards, in terms of catamaran unsinkability, even exceeding those standards on numerous levels.

Lying on the Adriatic see, Croatia is truly a breathtaking place to sail! We love the endless islands that dot the area and offer rocky coves, quiet beaches and sapphire waters. SAILING CALENDAR: WHERE AND WHEN TO SAIL

Booking lead times: trogir, croatia.

How far in advance should I book my course with Nautilus? The further in advance the better as boat and captain availability fill up well in advance.

CHALLENGING

Very difficult, sample itinerary and map.

Fly into the Split airport (airport code SPU) and catch a taxi to the UNESCO world heritage town of Trogir. Trogir is a spectacular town set on an island! Visit the old fortress, grab lunch in one of the old plazas and board the boat at 5pm. We will get situated and head in for a delicious meal in Trogir.

Do a chart briefing, systems overview and check all the equipment on the boat. After some boat drills, set sail for the island of Solta, a couple hours away. After some swimming and relaxing, do your first formal lessons aboard.

After a detailed look at engine operation and maintenance, learn how to sail! You'II learn points of sail, sail theory, and then head out to practice your sail trim. Sail down the coast to the famous town of Hvar. Get your first experience med mooring! We then hop in a water taxi to explore and grab dinner in the historic city of Hvar.

After a brief morning lesson, and our first ASA test, we once again pop the sails and set sail for the island of Vis. Tonight we stern tie to the riva (boardwalk) in Vis, and have a chance to wander the streets of this lovely old town. We love to go wine tasting in an old World War II bunker here!

This morning we head out and get a chance to sail to a remote bay for lunch, working on our sailing drills and skills along the way. After a swim and a lunch break, we sail back to Vis and pick up a mooring off the old town and head ashore for another delicious seafood meal.

Chart a course and set sail for the east end of the island of Solta, several hours away. This will be a fun passage! By this point you will be in charge of all the charting, navigation, sail trim and be the captains for this leg. Upon arrival drop the anchor in a lovely little cove, explore the beach, or go for a paddle board session.

We weigh anchor early and start the sail back towards Trogir. We will stop for an early lunch at a pristine anchorage and then do docking practice back at the marina. Friday night we will go out to celebrate all the new captains, then spend that final night on the boat.

We are off the boat by 8am and you are free to fly home, or take a couple of extra days to explore the rest of this beautiful area!

“Fabulous 7-day onboard sailing school. All the instructors are handpicked, world class, sailors with deep applied knowledge. We had only 4 students giving us plenty of hands-on time to practice skills… not just pass the written exams.

Dave Bell, our instructor for the week was a masterful teacher. He demystified all the lessons in the ASA 101, ASA 103, ASA 104, and ASA 114 text books. More importantly, he demonstrated how to operate all the mechanical systems in addition to setting sails.

I have compared notes with friends who had lesser experiences with other schools. I strongly recommend both Nautilus Sailing and Captain Dave Bell for anyone who dreams of sailing the oceans.”

Croatia learn to sail: Nautilus Sailing review

If you're curious about sailing, a luxury liveaboard on the Dalmatian Coast is the ultimate place to learn the ropes.

The 4 most underrated Greek Islands

No.1 rule of seeing Croatia’s famous lakes

Forget yacht week, this is the only way to see Croatia

Forget yacht week, this is the only way to see Croatia

The whole deck shudders as I cut the engines on our catamaran. Their rumble is replaced by the gentle sloshing of the ocean against the hulls as we make a beeline back towards the Pakleni island chain southwest of Hvar. I shoot a beaming smile at our instructor. We’ve done it. My yacht mates and I have jumped the mainsail, unfurled the jib and we’re successfully sailing ourselves along Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast.

It’s a massive feat considering, just six days earlier, the four of us had boarded the 42-foot Marbella at Trogir’s Marina Baotić as complete sailing rookies. But that’s why we joined Nautilus Sailing’s week-long intensive – to learn to sail and come out of it with globally recognised ASA 101, 103, 104, and 114 certifications.

The 5 most underrated cities in Europe

There’s no time to waste. Our lessons with lead instructor Tim Geisler begin almost immediately after we lay claim to our private double cabins. The first is theoretical – a complete guide to the intricate workings of the delicate toilet systems – and the second is a hands-on scavenger hunt to locate the all-important life jackets, flares and bottle openers.

Soon, practical boating lessons start with the rattle of the ignition and untying of stern lines. “Monique, I’m going to get you to take over at the helm,” Tim instructs. It’s a cannonball into the deep end but, after a few minutes with the wheel and split throttles, I’ve mastered the basics of controlling a catamaran.

I motor on, navigating us towards our first Mediterranean mooring of the week. It’s tucked in at the end of Šolta’s tapered Šešula bay, flanked by low, shrub-covered cliffs that perfectly cocoon us from the evening breeze. We’re still very much fledglings, so Tim takes the wheel while we work on the bow and stern lines. With guidance from the mooring owner, the hulking craft shimmies into place, stern-to-shore, alongside the two other student yachts sailing with us this week.

Though it’s uncharacteristically overcast, the afternoon is still pleasantly balmy and our glittering backyard beckons. I dive in off the back of the boat, sending the milling forage fish scattering. The water is tepid and crystal-clear through to the seagrass-spattered sand. “Oh, my gosh, life doesn’t suck,” Tim says. He’s sailed this course many times, but his enthusiasm for it hasn’t waned. Looking back at our catamaran in the afternoon’s golden glow, I understand why.

Unlike other Croatian liveaboards, this week with Nautilus isn’t all play and no work. “Knot-tying 101” kicks off under the late-summer sun, post-coffee and morning dip. Wrapped in a towel, I sit, listen and learn, manipulating a length of rope into a reef knot, a cleat hitch, and a round turn and two half hitches. They’re easy enough to complete at a leisurely learner’s pace. But, under the pressure of time and the stares of strangers at our next stop at ACI Marina Palmižana, it’s a whole other story.

Though we’re just 2.4 nautical miles from the buzzing port of Hvar, there’s far less frenetic energy to the car-less Palmižana island. The afternoon is slow, spent cooling off at a pebbly cove and devouring fried calamari sold by the kilo at Toto’s restaurant. A speeding water taxi offers a change of pace, elbowing its way through a sea of tiny tender boats to drop us at the city’s doorstep. We follow the heady aroma of garlic and parsley through Dalmatia’s largest public square to the back-alley Konoba Luviji Rooftop. It’s the restaurant outpost of the namesake winery with views of downtown and the hillside vineyard from which all of its wines come.

We’re in another port city a day later, punctuating our lessons, revisions and testing with more ocean swimming and winery visits. This time, we’ve moored in Vis. We’re just far enough away from the busy Riva to avoid the hubbub of revelling boats, yet close enough to tender in for fresh cherry strudels without missing 8am class. After a busy few days of completing certifications, Tim rallies with the other instructors to postpone the rest of the day’s sessions and scooter the island instead.

More Coverage

nautilus yachting croatia

Our convoy winds through acres of vineyard and dense Mediterranean macchia shrubland as a unified group. We stop periodically, taking photos of Vis and Komiža below and dutifully taste-testing gelato to find the island’s best (it’s at Pa Ti Odoli). Later in the evening, we bond further as a group, sharing glasses of fruit-forward vugava at Lipanović winery, its wine cellar located deep in a historic World War II military tunnel. It’s the last hoorah before backtracking, island to island, until we reach Trogir.

As the sun sets on our final night in Croatia, we welcome the rest of the flotilla aboard for one final evening of camaraderie. A toast is in order: to a new group of qualified sailors, ready and able to charter catamarans anywhere in the world. And to new friends. In true Tim style, he leaves us with a pearler: “See, sailing is about so much more than just those big, white flappy things.”I couldn’t agree more.

The writer was a guest of Nautilus Sailing.

Most people go on vacation to see landmarks or beaches… I went to see dead people.

The first glimpse of Croatia's Plitvice Lakes National Park prompts visitors to rush to take photos - but as this traveller discovered, it's worth taking a moment to appreciate the view sans camera, because there's even more photogenic spots to come.

A trip along the Croatian coast on a small but perfectly formed vessel heralds a new age in cruising.

What are the payment terms?

After signing the MYBA or Goolets charter agreement, a deposit of 50% of the total charter cost is required. You can pay the fee via bank transfer or credit card (only Visa or MasterCard). The other 50%, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (if applicable), taxes, positioning fees, and any previously agreed charges are payable via bank transfer eight weeks before departure.

and any previously agreed charges needs to be settled via bank transfer six weeks before departure.

What are the actual operating expenses?

Once you made the final payment of the charter, you pay the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). Under MYBA terms, this fee is usually between 30% - 40% of the total charter cost.

This covers the operating expenses of a charter (explained under Charter Terms), such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees, and ad hoc incidentals. The APA is given to the captain before the start of your charter. Some yachts and gulets also offer food/drinks packages which are normally paid in cash during embarkation, while the port taxes are paid during embarkation according to the costs presented by the captain. The Captain ensures that the yacht is fully fuelled and stocked when you step on board.

While an up-to-date summary of accounts can be requested at any time during your charter, a full set of accounts will normally be submitted by your captain at the end of the cruise.

In case of surpassing the amount of money already paid during your yacht charter (with the APA), additional funds (in cash) will be required at once. If there is an outstanding balance from the yacht charter, it should be settled in cash or by bank transfer before you disembark. In case of a remaining credit at the end of your charter, you will be fully reimbursed.

If a transfer by car to and from the yacht is required, it can be arranged either by the charter company or by the yacht’s captain, payment for which will be deducted from your APA.

How can we make your yacht charter personalized?

To ensure a unique and tailor-made charter experience, we will send you a detailed questionnaire eight weeks before you embark on your yacht. You can tell us your group's preferences and special requirements, such as dietary or medical needs, any particular wishes regarding exercise, entertainment, or if you are celebrating a special occasion.

Are internet and satellite TV connections available onboard?

In case you really need to get some work done during your vacation, no worries. On most yachts, there is mobile broadband internet and satellite TV, so you will stay connected to the rest of the world. Just keep in mind that the service can be limited in some areas (you are in the middle of the sea after all). If you anticipate regular usage of the internet, let us know prior to embarking, as upgrades might be subject to availability and additional fees may apply.

Is smoking allowed onboard?

Smoking is permitted only on the outside decks, and on some yachts, only in dedicated outdoor areas. Please consult our charter brokers for more information. For safety reasons, smoking indoors is strictly prohibited on all yachts.

Are tips for the crew mandatory?

Even though tips are not mandatory, the guests normally extend a gratuity to the devoted crew. The amount depends on the guest's satisfaction, but it is approximately 10% of the charter fee. The tips are equally distributed among all crew members by the captain.

Should I get any insurance?

In case of unforeseen circumstances that might prevent the charter, we highly recommend taking out the Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to protect the investment. Besides that, the guests should be covered by Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, and their belongings are insured against theft, loss, or damage. Charterers’ Liability insurance is also highly recommended. Contact your broker for further assistance and additional advice regarding the insurance.

How are the charter rates calculated?

Charter rates are estimated weekly. If a charter exceeds seven days, they are calculated pro-rata against the weekly rate divided by seven and multiplied by the number of charter days. Keep in mind that some yachts are only chartered on a weekly (Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday) basis, especially during the high season.

High and low season rates vary depending on charter locations and types of yachts. The high rates apply to the most popular charter periods (July/August and Christmas/New Year), and to all major events. Low season rates apply to all other periods.

The charter rates on our website are up to date but may be subject to change.

What are the charter terms?

Most charter rates are based on MYBA Terms, which entail that the yacht is in full commission, with all necessary equipment, properly insured for marine risks, and managed by a crew, whose wages, food, and clothing are the owner’s expense.

All other operating expenses are charged to the charterer and include (but are not limited to): fuel and lubricating oils for the yacht and her tenders; local taxes; pilotage; port, harbor, and marina dues; customs clearance; water and power; personal laundry; all provisions, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and consumables for the charterer’s group; shoreside excursions, telecommunication, and internet costs.

Please note that, occasionally, a yacht may offer an alteration on the terms described above. For further information about specific yachts, consult your broker.

Do any other taxes apply?

For charters in European waters, Value Added Tax and delivery costs may be charged on the gross Charter Fee, due to the European Union tax legislation. In other countries, local taxes may also apply. Depending on your chosen charter destination, our brokers will provide any prevalent rates.

Stephen and Jessica were amazing crew!!!

We booked an odysseus flotilla holiday and having never been on a yachting holiday I found that jess and steven were not only great sailors but amazing hosts. I felt at ease, relaxed and confident that whatever happened they would deal with it. And they did have a few challenges with weather and boats which they took in their stride , dealing with it with aplomb and dexterity. Always taking charge when required and saving the day, not only for odysseus yachts but other boats in the harbour selflessly. They are a credit to the company and prized ambassadors. Well done and thankyou for an amazing holiday

Bareboat cruise ex Dubrovnik

We have just had a really wonderful week cruising the islands west of Dubrovnik. Thank you to Kali and Olive for all their help and advice in arranging the booking etc.. When we arrived - the yachts were very well equipped and presented and the marina staff were more than helpful. We had a truly memorable family holiday.

Best flotila holidays in Turkey

My family had a great holidays organized by Nautilus. We booked their Fethiye flotila and it was fun, well organized and relaxing. The lead crew was very professional and friendly. The boat was in perfect condition and all equipment worked as expected. We had problem with out flight which was cancelled but Nautilus was very supportive and managed to welcome us when we arrived later than planned even it was election day in Turkey. It was our first time with nautilus and I hope we will book many more times with them.

Kalamaki/ 2 weeks

Kalamaki/ 2 weeks: 24 Aug to 7 Sep Sailed with Ross (Lead Skipper) and Alex (Hostess). Could not have been better, excellent choice of route considering the mixed make up of the group - Children and 'more mature sailors'. Briefings professional and informative, evening ashore, were well organised and thought out. I would not hesitate to use Nautilus Yachting again if all their Lead Crew are of the high standard as displayed by Ross and Alex. Paul & Katherine

Flotilla out of Corfu 16 - 23 July 2022

Just returned from a flotilla sailing out of Corfu and cannot praise the team (Steve (lead), Stephen (mech), Jessica (host)) enough, professional, friendly, helpful all at the same time. Our yacht Tumbleweed was well equipped and the only issue we had with a fan not working and this was sorted asap by Stephen (mech). The passages taken was well briefed, with fantastic help finding us the best spots to moor/anchor. This was first flotilla with Nautilus and based on this experience will definitely be returning.

Hi Colin, Thank you for your 5 Star review of the Corfu flotilla. We look forward to hearing from you in the future. Kind Regards Jonathan Shears Nautilus Yachting

We had a great time cruising the North…

We had a great time cruising the North Ionian on a Bali 4.1 from Gouvia Marina. Loved the boat, loved the weather, loved the Greek food and hospitality. Much less congested than the South Ionian but still plenty of cool places to go Nautilus were very helpful getting things organised, especially given all the Covid complications / delays, and Istion were very helpful on the ground in Corfu. I would recommend both to anyone again. Thanks.

Avoid and book with more reliable company

We spent a long time choosing our Nautilus sailing itinerary, to pick places we wanted to visit and avoid those we had visited before. On arrival, out the 5 moorings on our trip only one was in the itinerary we booked. We were pre-warned at the time of booking that one mooring would have no water or electricity. Instead we had three with neither water or electricity, and they were on consecutive days. Not having a ‘proper mooring’ meant we had to be called in as early as 1pm as it took so long for 10 boats to be tied together on rocks. So we missed the only time sailing ever occurred ( afternoons). Hours were spent just bobbing around waiting for our turn to be called in every day. Despite this we still were told which taverna we had to eat in, and were not allowed to choose for ourselves. Group meals were also made compulsory, not all people want to do this. Our boat had no bedroom fans and were sweltering at night. Speaking to other people on flotillas (with Ionian sailing and sunset sailing) did not have any of the above issues. Having voiced my complaint to customer services ( Gillian) they offered 5% discount on my next booking!!! I don’t think they had read my letter, especially as I mentioned 2 companies where guests did not have any of the issues we had with Nautilus. While there we asked why the itinerary was changed so much they said it was because it ‘was so busy’ but as I said non of the other sailing flotillas had any of theirs changed at all. We booked our trip 10 months in advance.

Date of experience : September 17, 2023

Dear Joanne, Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to hear that your recent flotilla experience did not meet your expectations. We were surprised to receive such conflicting feedback as the lead person in charge of your booking whilst mirroring some of your dissatisfaction, they continued to comment that the "yacht, flotilla lead crew and reception from Odysseus Yachting was superb". I understand you were still in communication with my colleague Gillian in the Customer Care team but before all matters could be answered fully you have decided to post this review and we will therefore respond publicly as you so desire. We have raised your points with Odysseus and this particular week was one of the busiest in the Southern Ionian and they feel they did the best they could do to ensure client’s safety and convenience for the best possible berth/spots. The flotilla crew have to react to real time situations and the number of yachts sailing on flotilla. We cannot comment on how other flotilla companies operate. I would like to draw your attention to the caveat on our website regarding the flotilla routes saying "Please Note: All routes may vary due to weather conditions & other factors". The itinerary is a suggested itinerary and we cannot guarantee the route in advance. We will speak with Odysseus to see how we can improve on letting clients know they can stay out sailing for longer. However those that stay out for longer will need to be advised they may have to anchor off or be away from the flotilla. Very few berths in Greece can be reserved as they are predominantly government owned and on a first come first serve basis. I was actually on this flotilla in July and the flotilla crew were very conscious not to enforce tavenas on guests. Suggestions of tavenas were only suggestions and are organised for the convenience of guests. It is a well known practice in the Mediterranean that if you moor up at a taverna owned quayside or buoy then you eat at their taverna in exchange for a complimentary mooring. In regards to your comments about the cabin fans we are disappointed to hear of this issue. It is something we were still in discussion with Odysseus, so a resolution could then be offered to the lead person in charge of your booking. Our offer of a discount off a future booking was done in good faith because this was the 3rd flotilla booking for the lead person and I understand that they are already considering a charter with us and Odysseus in 2024. If you would like to discuss any of the above points further please do not hesitate to contact me. Kind Regard Russell Stevens General Manager

I had a really great experience with nautilus. Friendly and proactive and I had really great time in Croatia. Will definitely be using them again. Many thanks. Frank xx

Problems with Fethiye flotilla

The marina at Fethiye is terribly noisy. There is a club just outside the marina that pumps out loud music to the early hours. So an awful start and end to our flotilla week. Also, every night you are captive, moored next to just one restaurant with prices that are about 3 times the usual - and you have no other options. This is not made clear when booking the holiday. Left a very bad taste. And twice the restaurant turned into a noisy party that carried on into the early hours. The leaders Mike and Debbie were brilliant, and very helpful - they did a great job. But I will never do this flotilla again.

Date of experience : July 01, 2023

Dear Walkers, We are sorry to hear the Fethiye destination did not meet your expectations. This is the first time we have been made aware of any noise issues near the Fethiye marina or in the restaurants during the week. These noise issues appear to be external from the flotilla. We do say on our website that most nights will be spent at restaurant jetty's. It is also the case that when sailing in Turkey (Flotilla or Bareboat) it is normally only one restaurant per bay. Food and Drink is slightly more at these restaurants compared to large towns, but this is because the supplys have to be imported by boat and electricity is created by private generators. Currently with the Turkish hyperinflation, a stable food price is likely difficult for them to maintain, but we are still confident that eating out in Turkey will continue to be the same and if not cheaper than most European sailing destinations.   We are pleased to hear that despite these issues the flotilla crew Mike and Debbie were excellent and I will also pass this feedback on.  Kind Regards Jonathan Shears Nautilus Yachting

Turkish Fethiye flotilla

Went out on the Turkish Fethiye Flotilla on the 4th July as soon as the FCO travel advice allowed, we had an amazing time, everything was perfect, fantastic bays, great places to eat and perfect sailing winds. The boat was well maintained and the lead crew Mike and Debbie were great company and looked after us throughout. I cannot thank Jon at Nautilus enough for the last minute arrangements and making it happen, This was our second flotilla with Nautilus and we can’t wait to book with them again.

Some gaps in email dealings with…

We experienced some gaps in email dealings with customer services reps who had not read email trail and did not answer all questions and asked again for information they had been sent already. Otherwise pleasant to deal with. Online form not capable of taking uploads of licences etc. These had to be sent separately by email.

A fantastic family sailing holiday - Thank you Nautilus…

We had an fantastic family sailing holiday this summer in Greece (the South Ionian) all organised through Nautilus. This was our first family trip with me at the helm and the Nautilus team advised us from the very start - getting qualified, where to go, when to go, how to keep the children (6,10 & 11) happy, what to take etc etc - it was a huge success, we are just now need to decide when we are going to return next year! Thank you very much to Jon and all the team.

Ionian Sailing

Wonderful weeks sailing in the Ionian, magical holiday, beautiful sea's, weather and so much fun on a yacht. Brilliantly managed and supported by Nautilus Yachting Ltd who facilitated it all, founds us a deal and helped well after our week. We will book again!.

Lovely people, poorly maintained boat.

Lovely people, and had lots of advice. The resort support was great when the boat broke twice. Unfortunately, I will not be booking again. I have been around boats/owner for over 20 years. The one rule you need to adhere to is maintenance. If boats are not well maintained, the job list will soon mount up. It was a lovely trip. However, as a sailor it was very frustrating to watch others sail you we were not able to for 5 days of the 12 we chartered. I did get a small contribution back (thank you) and some fuel. However, this did not detract from the poor quality of the boat. My fault for not checking the maintenance record. In our case the mast needed to be removed and of course the boat needed to be lifted once we returned to the UK.

Dear Mr Dodd, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to hear that your boat did not meet your expectations. We see that in July your issues have already been addressed by the Customer Care team and the matter has been settled. We always want our clients to be satisfied and as agents we have passed on your feedback to the fleet (Athenian Yachting) you sailed with. Kind Regards Nautilus Yachting Team

A reputable charter company in which you can have confidence.

We have used Nautilus for all our charters for a number of years and have found them to be extremely professional and responsive to any queries we might have. During the pandemic they agreed to postpone, at the same cost, our 2020 charter to 2021 and then again to 2022. From our experience they ensure that the local agents and/or boat owners are providing both well found vessels and have accurately described their boats.

Fantastic Customer Service

Fantastic Customer Service We were a unique booking of 2 yachts and 20 people with a few name changes and extra questions and requests as we were attending my sisters wedding halfway through the holiday. Thank you very much for everything and the wedding went well. We particularly liked the Gin & Tonic at the London Boat Show! ;o)

Sailing in Corfu

The boat was really clear, in great condition and well looked after. The location was incredible and it was a very run set up, with people on hand if needed. The organisation was great, the team at the base were friendly and supportive. They gave great explanations and everything had been thought of from the extensive first aid kit on the boat to engine maintenance. Although we appreciated the first aid kit most, it was prepared for everything and the bite cream was a life saver with mozzy bites! It's always hard to know everything about a boat you haven't sailed before but, they explained well and were on hand to advise. I have only just got back and am looking to book my next holiday, I think we will continue to use nautilus for all our future holidays.

Gulet Nautilus

Gulet Nautilus is an elegant cruising yacht available on the charter market for private cruises in Croatia. Available from Split or Trogir, gulet Nautilus may also be rented for a one-way cruise to Dubrovnik. A total of 16 guests may be accommodated in 8 double bed cabins, each with an en suite bathroom. Nautilus has a very spacious salon that comprises a dining area and a TV, perfect for those seeking escape from the sun. Ample salon extends out to the generous exterior spaces that offer multiple lounging and dining areas. A large sunbathing area is located on the front deck with brand new sun mattresses, partially shielded from the sun so you can enjoy both the sun and the shade when needed. The aft deck features an outdoor dining table that sits comfortably up to 16 persons and can be adapted according to the number of guests. Another sitting area is located on the front deck, intended for casual dining and relaxing under the shade. For those who pursue a dynamic holiday, plenty of water sports equipment will keep everyone aboard entertained. There are two kayaks, two paddle boards, donut, wakeboard and water skis. In addition to recreational activities, the guests can also relish delicious local meals provided by the chef on board. Since the gastronomic offer plays such an important role on this unique cruise, the guests can choose between half board and full board menus, tailoring their holiday precisely to their needs. Another advantage of chartering gulet Nautilus lies in the fact that it is a family run business, which means that it is in their best interest that everything goes smoothly on your cruise. This is also reflected in the great charter service provided by the gulet’s crew of four. If you like water sports, good food and efficient service, you will enjoy cruising aboard gulet Nautilus.
