The Royal Motor Yacht Club Port Hacking– founded in 1934 is a not for profit club which, over the years, has built a proud and interesting history and relationships which members and the local community.

Situated on Gunnamatta Bay, RMYC Port Hacking has direct access to the waterfront to enhance your life on the water.

We offer a range of facilities including a marina, slipway, dry storage, and casual berthing. Our location, community spirit, restaurant and bar, and unsurpassed views ensures that our club, your club is a fantastic place to relax, unwind and enjoy all that we have to offer. There’s always something happening at RMYC Port Hacking.

Australian Sailing Number (ASN)

All competitors in any race must be a member of a club or be a temporary  SailPass  member as per rule 46. This centres around duty of care, safety and insurance for injury, accident or financial loss. This also gives us information about who is racing which is an important part of our approach to safety. It's the Skipper's  responsibility  to ensure crew have an ASN to be eligible to race/receive prizes.

Tender Procedure

• Observe maximum number of 9.
• Check sailing roster for Wed. afternoons.
• Skippers to drop most crew on marina.
• Tender will drop remaining crew to closest point on the marina to save time.
• Crew to ensure skippers are picked up.
• This way we can get all ashore quickly and not forget anyone.

Food & Beverage Discounts across the Bar & Bistro

Present your membership card when ordering from the bar or bistro ‘Yachties’ and receive discounted pricing on all meals and drinks.

Lower level parking surrounding the club house is only available to Boating Members and their Associates at peak trading times. Should you need to drop off or pick up someone requiring assistance, please use the intercom at the boom-gate reader. During times when the boom-gate is up, all members and guests are welcome to use the lower level parking.

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Burraneer Bay Marina, offering you an exclusive 25c/litre discount on all diesel, premium unleaded, and pre-mix fuels.

Simply complete the form here giving your consent for BBM to contact you about registering for this fantastic offer. Plus, ask about their 24-hour fuel service and the option to open a monthly account for your fuel purchases. 

All Boating Members have access to a monthly food and beverage account. Known as a ‘House’ account, this is accessible by completing a credit card or direct debit authority at Reception.

The RMYC Port Hacking marina and boat ramp access are only available to Boating Members and their Associates. Crew Members have pedestrian access to the marina 7 days per week.

All Boating, Crew, Veteran and Associate Members have the right to vote on the Board of Directors of your club. The AGM is generally held on the last weekend in August and the Board of Directors is elected using the ‘Triennial’ rule, meaning that three of the existing nine board members are open for election each year with a three-year term.

The club has a number of waterfront facilities available to members at varying degrees across our membership packages. Please see our friendly reception team for more information.
