Staff was great. We had very positive experience Hobie sailing. We went out a second day and had same great time. They were extremely patient with us. They are successful in delivering a positive customer experience.

There's a reason why Downwind Sails has been in Myrtle Beach forever. They are awesome folks and I'm glad I got to go out on a Hobie Cat and SUP. I'll do the parasailing, jet ski and more on the next visit.

We went ocean kayaking which was an absolute blast! It was cheap and so much fun! You got to go where you wanted without a guide! Then we had to go back the next day for more so we tried parasailing! I definitely recommend trying it. It's not as scary as it looks! Going up is smooth as well as coming down. We even got some pictures taken and they turned out great!

Went parasailing with Downwind Sails about a week ago. I've parasailed before in Hawaii and found that Downwind Sails really delivers a great experience. From start to finish I was impressed with their crew and their equipment. They are very safety conscious and tell you exactly what to do. Could not have been more pleased with experience!

Myrtle Beach Sailing School offers American Sailing certification courses (ASA sailing lessons) and non-certification ocean sailing lessons that are perfect for those individuals, couples, friends or families that have either always wanted to learn to sail, would like to find out if sailing is for them, or would like to increase their sailing skills and confidence.

With a 3 student limit and an additional day of sailing for beginner classes (101, 102 & 103), our courses offer students more on-the-water instruction than most sailing schools , slowing the pace while allowing you more time to absorb and process your new skills.

Our 104 & 106 courses prepare you for true-to-life coastal cruising experiences allowing you to become a more competent sailor.

Sailing lessons are available as either individual , combo liveaboard , or private couple/pair liveaboard programs.

Our pontoon boat rentals offer the perfect solution for families or groups to get out on the water, have some fun and do some relaxing. Rent a 22’ pontoon boat today and have up to 9 passengers out on the water for a 4 hour half day or an 8 hour full day. Our pontoon boats are equipped with radio, iPod connectivity, life jackets as well as all required safety equipment. Bring your fishing gear or just relax and enjoy the ride. While on the water, you can take a 2 hour ride down south to the beautiful and popular Sandy Island and enjoy the day on a secluded beach. This is a great way to spend some time on the water with a large group of friends and family! All gas is included, so no refueling cost!

• Drivers must be 16 years old with valid ID to drive alone (SC State Law) Any age can ride or drive as long as there is an adult (18) on the same jet ski.
• A valid ID is an official state issued picture ID, driver’s permit or driver’s license showing age.
• Follow one of our experienced guides up the Intracoastal Waterway through North Myrtle Beach out to the ocean on this 30-40 mile jet ski tour.
• Conditions permitting, we will then travel out into the ocean.
• This is the most exciting part of the tour as our guide tries to get you up-close to our favorite marine mammals while respecting their natural habitat and behaviors.
• Mornings are the best time to do the tours, ocean conditions are better and we normally see more dolphin in the morning as well.
• Ocean conditions are different from day to day, they can vary from smooth like a lake one day to extremely rough (6-10 ft waves) another. There are times we have to cancel tours due to ocean conditions. Conditions can also change in a matter of minutes. Once the tour has begun if your guide determines it’s too rough and not safe in the ocean, the tour will continue on the intracoastal waterway.

• If you’re looking to book the  2 Hr Jet Ski Dolphin Watch Tour, the North Myrtle location is the best location (closer to the ocean, more time to find & view dolphin, more scenic riding to areas only accessible from North Myrtle Location, plus an island stop)
