The splendid Motor Yacht LEOPARD is a performance 34m Superyacht, built by Arno Leopard in Italy in 2006, having undergone a major interior and exterior refit in 2016 to enhance her contemporary and stylish design created by Andrea Bacigalupo with an additional 5th double cabin (1 Master, 1 Double, 2 VIP and 1 Twin with an additional Pullman bed).

Accommodating now 11 guests in her elegant and comfortable 5 cabins embellished with classy and modern colours and fabrics, Superyacht LEOPARD can cruise with up to 12 guests providing spacious and luxurious comfort.

Superyacht LEOPARD features interior and exterior leisure spaces with an opening sunroof with air-conditioning throughout. In addition, she carries state-of-the art audio-visual entertainment equipment and a vast array of tenders and water toys. She has an impressive performance of sailing up to 43 knots at top speed.

August 1 saw the technical launch of the 34m (112′) motor yacht Leopard 34/18 , built by the Italian shipyard Leopard Yachts . The Leopard 34/18 superyacht was designed by renowned Andrea Bacigalupo , with a lovely interior by Luxury Projects. She is scheduled for delivery by the end of September.

Built in composite, the 34m sport yacht Leopard 34/18 can reach an impressive top speed of 36 knots and a cruising speed of 33 knots, thanks to her triple MTU 16V 2000 M91 engines. Bureau Veritas classed, this spectacular vessel boasts a beam of 7,35m (24’11”) and a maximum draft of 1,22m (4′).

ENCORE shows in excellent condition and is available on short notice located in her prime slip at Island Gardens Marina in Miami Beach. She is the most upgraded of all the 15 112' Leopards built by the ARNO Shipyard in Italy.  Her 3x MTU jet propelled engines allow her to reach speeds near 40kts - with only 1300 original hours on the engines they have had light use over their lifetime. 

Perfect for cruising the Bahamas & Caribbean with a 4' Draft.

She sleeps 10 guests in 4 cabins included a full beam master cabin as well as a spacious VIP. In addition ENCORE has a bonus media room located forward no the main deck complete with full bath so this could easily be converted into a 5th cabin giving her the ability to sleep 12 guests. 

ENCORE also has a very successful charter business that puts her in the green covering all of her annual operating costs. Charter business could be included in the sale if a buyer is interested in a turn key, profitable business.

Walking up to ENCORE you immediately notice that her hull & superstructure is in excellent condition having recently received a full compound buff, wax and polish. 

She has a spacious garage that is recently painted and carries a full size jet ski which is included in the sale and room for a small jet tender with storage for water sports toys.

Arriving on the aft deck you have a large lounge/dining area. Cushions and the varnish on the table are all in excellent condition. A new pop-up tv is located forward to port side. The removable old-school umbrellas have been replaced with a new retractable awning which has support poles that light up with LEDs that really make the aft sunpads shine at night. 

You can continue to the bow both on the port & starboard sides. Teak decks are skinny and could be replaced (owner in the process of upgrading but depending on the sale dates this might not be completed before closing but can be included). Bow area has a massive sunpad area with tables and clam shell bimini for shade. What I love is that there is a crew area that sleeps 2 crew with full bath and 2 full size washers and 1 full size dryer so great added space depending on how many crew you require. Note: back aft she has a spacious crew area sleeping 4 with mess which I will touch on later.

Stepping up from the bow area you can reach the raised sundeck area which has additional sunpads all of which are in great space. I can imagine being up her blasting around the Bahamas at 35+ knots wind whipping in my face. Awesome spaces for when slow cruising or high speed to enjoy what owning a Leopard is all about. 

Entering the main salon through her automatic sliding glass doors you immediately notice the open space great for entertaining and the fact she has 7ft+ headroom throughout the entire interior oof the yacht. She has 2 built in sitting areas to port with new diamond stitched cushions, new flooring, and the old burle wood panelling has been replaced with dark wood that matches the fit & finish with the rest of the interior decor found throughout the interior of the yacht. A back-lit yellow Onyx bar has new Isotherm refrigerators. The accent glass separates the helm area from the salon and with a touch of the button frosts over into privacy glass. A massive new pop-up tv also acts as a great separation of space.

The port side of the salon has stairs that lead down to the crew area and galley. Crew accommodations sleep 4 in 2 bunk rooms both en-suits with a nice crew mess/dining area. Large enclosed galley has alot of natural light and counter top space for the chef to utilize as well as a pass through to help with service.

Moving forward from the salon to starboard you enter the media room which is awesome and full beam. New diamond stitch cushions match the salon, new tv, and full bath. This could be a great on-deck cabin which would allow the layout to have 5 cabins sleeping 12. Considering you have crew berths for up to 6 you can still provide proper service. 

Heading down to the guest areas you have 4 cabins sleeping 10. Back aft you have a full beam master, 2 smaller cabins both sleep 3 with pullman berths (the cabin to port has a queen, the cabin to starboard 2 singles) and stepping up forward you have your VIP which I almost prefer over the master it is so nice. New mattresses in the cabins. 

Heading back up to the helm this is where you will find important upgrades onboard with a completely new Navior shipboard monitoring system installed by Nautitech. This system interfaces with the 4 monitors including BlueVision. The system connects to all major systems onboard from generators, engines, bilges, tanks and also allows fro seamless transfer from shore power to generators. As for the Rolls Royce Kamewa drives, the old-school toggles have been upgraded to a touch screen making operations easier. The Garmin autopilot now interfaces with the Simrad systems so everything is nicely situated.

Stepping into the engine room you will also notice everything is extremely clean, upgraded and well maintained. The engines have only 1200 original hours, the older A/Sea shorepower units have been replaced with Atlas systems which are superior, black water systems been upgraded, new 60,000 BTU A/C compressor installed and the plumbing is being upgraded to improve water flow to the other compressors so that the entire AC system runs colder than before, new Capella pumps that are 1/2hp larger also assist. New exhaust blankets, new exhaust gaskets, bilges spotless, nice work space for the engineer and with great headroom and easy of access to all major machinery. D'Angelo has done a large amount of the maintenance since the owner purchased her 2 years ago. 

Summit was onboard when I was there completing a full inspection of the fire system onboard including portable devices, CO2 so check this off your list.

Overall she shows in excellent condition and is a turn-key package for private use and as a mentioned there is a profitable charter business surrounding her that can be included in the sale along with her prime slip at Island Gardens Marina.

Owner is upgrading and is a serious seller. Offers and inspections highly recommended.

She is the most upgraded of all the 15 112' Leopards built by the ARNO Shipyard in Italy.  Her 3x MTU jet propelled engines allow her to reach speeds near 40kts - with only 1300 original hours on the engines they have had light use over their lifetime. </p> <p>Perfect for cruising the Bahamas & Caribbean with a 4' Draft.</p> <p>She sleeps 10 guests in 4 cabins included a full beam master cabin as well as a spacious VIP. In addition ENCORE has a bonus media room located forward no the main deck complete with full bath so this could easily be converted into a 5th cabin giving her the ability to sleep 12 guests. </p> <p>ENCORE also has a very successful charter business that puts her in the green covering all of her annual operating costs. Charter business could be included in the sale if a buyer is interested in a turn key, profitable business.</p><p>Walking up to ENCORE you immediately notice that her hull & superstructure is in excellent condition having recently received a full compound buff, wax and polish. </p> <p>She has a spacious garage that is recently painted and carries a full size jet ski which is included in the sale and room for a small jet tender with storage for water sports toys.</p> <p>Arriving on the aft deck you have a large lounge/dining area. Cushions and the varnish on the table are all in excellent condition. A new pop-up tv is located forward to port side. The removable old-school umbrellas have been replaced with a new retractable awning which has support poles that light up with LEDs that really make the aft sunpads shine at night. </p> <p>You can continue to the bow both on the port & starboard sides. Teak decks are skinny and could be replaced (owner in the process of upgrading but depending on the sale dates this might not be completed before closing but can be included). Bow area has a massive sunpad area with tables and clam shell bimini for shade. What I love is that there is a crew area that sleeps 2 crew with full bath and 2 full size washers and 1 full size dryer so great added space depending on how many crew you require. Note: back aft she has a spacious crew area sleeping 4 with mess which I will touch on later.</p> <p>Stepping up from the bow area you can reach the raised sundeck area which has additional sunpads all of which are in great space. I can imagine being up her blasting around the Bahamas at 35+ knots wind whipping in my face. Awesome spaces for when slow cruising or high speed to enjoy what owning a Leopard is all about. </p> <p>Entering the main salon through her automatic sliding glass doors you immediately notice the open space great for entertaining and the fact she has 7ft+ headroom throughout the entire interior oof the yacht. She has 2 built in sitting areas to port with new diamond stitched cushions, new flooring, and the old burle wood panelling has been replaced with dark wood that matches the fit & finish with the rest of the interior decor found throughout the interior of the yacht. A back-lit yellow Onyx bar has new Isotherm refrigerators. The accent glass separates the helm area from the salon and with a touch of the button frosts over into privacy glass. A massive new pop-up tv also acts as a great separation of space.</p> <p>The port side of the salon has stairs that lead down to the crew area and galley. Crew accommodations sleep 4 in 2 bunk rooms both en-suits with a nice crew mess/dining area. Large enclosed galley has alot of natural light and counter top space for the chef to utilize as well as a pass through to help with service.</p> <p>Moving forward from the salon to starboard you enter the media room which is awesome and full beam. New diamond stitch cushions match the salon, new tv, and full bath. This could be a great on-deck cabin which would allow the layout to have 5 cabins sleeping 12. Considering you have crew berths for up to 6 you can still provide proper service. </p> <p>Heading down to the guest areas you have 4 cabins sleeping 10. Back aft you have a full beam master, 2 smaller cabins both sleep 3 with pullman berths (the cabin to port has a queen, the cabin to starboard 2 singles) and stepping up forward you have your VIP which I almost prefer over the master it is so nice. New mattresses in the cabins. </p> <p>Heading back up to the helm this is where you will find important upgrades onboard with a completely new Navior shipboard monitoring system installed by Nautitech. This system interfaces with the 4 monitors including BlueVision. The system connects to all major systems onboard from generators, engines, bilges, tanks and also allows fro seamless transfer from shore power to generators. As for the Rolls Royce Kamewa drives, the old-school toggles have been upgraded to a touch screen making operations easier. The Garmin autopilot now interfaces with the Simrad systems so everything is nicely situated.</p> <p>Stepping into the engine room you will also notice everything is extremely clean, upgraded and well maintained. The engines have only 1200 original hours, the older A/Sea shorepower units have been replaced with Atlas systems which are superior, black water systems been upgraded, new 60,000 BTU A/C compressor installed and the plumbing is being upgraded to improve water flow to the other compressors so that the entire AC system runs colder than before, new Capella pumps that are 1/2hp larger also assist. New exhaust blankets, new exhaust gaskets, bilges spotless, nice work space for the engineer and with great headroom and easy of access to all major machinery. D'Angelo has done a large amount of the maintenance since the owner purchased her 2 years ago. </p> <p>Summit was onboard when I was there completing a full inspection of the fire system onboard including portable devices, CO2 so check this off your list.</p> <p>Overall she shows in excellent condition and is a turn-key package for private use and as a mentioned there is a profitable charter business surrounding her that can be included in the sale along with her prime slip at Island Gardens Marina.</p> <p>Owner is upgrading and is a serious seller. Charter business could be included in the sale if a buyer is interested in a turn key, profitable business.</p><p>Walking up to ENCORE you immediately notice that her hull & superstructure is in excellent condition having recently received a full compound buff, wax and polish. </p> <p>She has a spacious garage that is recently painted and carries a full size jet ski which is included in the sale and room for a small jet tender with storage for water sports toys.</p> <p>Arriving on the aft deck you have a large lounge/dining area. Cushions and the varnish on the table are all in excellent condition. A new pop-up tv is located forward to port side. The removable old-school umbrellas have been replaced with a new retractable awning which has support poles that light up with LEDs that really make the aft sunpads shine at night. </p> <p>You can continue to the bow both on the port & starboard sides. Teak decks are skinny and could be replaced (owner in the process of upgrading but depending on the sale dates this might not be completed before closing but can be included). Bow area has a massive sunpad area with tables and clam shell bimini for shade. What I love is that there is a crew area that sleeps 2 crew with full bath and 2 full size washers and 1 full size dryer so great added space depending on how many crew you require. Note: back aft she has a spacious crew area sleeping 4 with mess which I will touch on later.</p> <p>Stepping up from the bow area you can reach the raised sundeck area which has additional sunpads all of which are in great space. I can imagine being up her blasting around the Bahamas at 35+ knots wind whipping in my face. Awesome spaces for when slow cruising or high speed to enjoy what owning a Leopard is all about. </p> <p>Entering the main salon through her automatic sliding glass doors you immediately notice the open space great for entertaining and the fact she has 7ft+ headroom throughout the entire interior oof the yacht. She has 2 built in sitting areas to port with new diamond stitched cushions, new flooring, and the old burle wood panelling has been replaced with dark wood that matches the fit & finish with the rest of the interior decor found throughout the interior of the yacht. A back-lit yellow Onyx bar has new Isotherm refrigerators. The accent glass separates the helm area from the salon and with a touch of the button frosts over into privacy glass. A massive new pop-up tv also acts as a great separation of space.</p> <p>The port side of the salon has stairs that lead down to the crew area and galley. Crew accommodations sleep 4 in 2 bunk rooms both en-suits with a nice crew mess/dining area. Large enclosed galley has alot of natural light and counter top space for the chef to utilize as well as a pass through to help with service.</p> <p>Moving forward from the salon to starboard you enter the media room which is awesome and full beam. New diamond stitch cushions match the salon, new tv, and full bath. This could be a great on-deck cabin which would allow the layout to have 5 cabins sleeping 12. Considering you have crew berths for up to 6 you can still provide proper service. </p> <p>Heading down to the guest areas you have 4 cabins sleeping 10. Back aft you have a full beam master, 2 smaller cabins both sleep 3 with pullman berths (the cabin to port has a queen, the cabin to starboard 2 singles) and stepping up forward you have your VIP which I almost prefer over the master it is so nice. New mattresses in the cabins. </p> <p>Heading back up to the helm this is where you will find important upgrades onboard with a completely new Navior shipboard monitoring system installed by Nautitech. This system interfaces with the 4 monitors including BlueVision. The system connects to all major systems onboard from generators, engines, bilges, tanks and also allows fro seamless transfer from shore power to generators. As for the Rolls Royce Kamewa drives, the old-school toggles have been upgraded to a touch screen making operations easier. The Garmin autopilot now interfaces with the Simrad systems so everything is nicely situated.</p> <p>Stepping into the engine room you will also notice everything is extremely clean, upgraded and well maintained. The engines have only 1200 original hours, the older A/Sea shorepower units have been replaced with Atlas systems which are superior, black water systems been upgraded, new 60,000 BTU A/C compressor installed and the plumbing is being upgraded to improve water flow to the other compressors so that the entire AC system runs colder than before, new Capella pumps that are 1/2hp larger also assist. New exhaust blankets, new exhaust gaskets, bilges spotless, nice work space for the engineer and with great headroom and easy of access to all major machinery. D'Angelo has done a large amount of the maintenance since the owner purchased her 2 years ago. </p> <p>Summit was onboard when I was there completing a full inspection of the fire system onboard including portable devices, CO2 so check this off your list.</p> <p>Overall she shows in excellent condition and is a turn-key package for private use and as a mentioned there is a profitable charter business surrounding her that can be included in the sale along with her prime slip at Island Gardens Marina.</p> <p>Owner is upgrading and is a serious seller. Lori Harvey showed off a racy leopard-printed bikini on vacation in St. Tropez Tuesday, relaxing on a luxurious yacht as she soaked up the sun with her family.

The 27-year-old model and swimwear entrepreneur — whose father is comedian Steve Harvey — struck various poses while perched on a railing in some sizzling pics she shared on her Instagram Story .

The socialite shaded her face from the sun in a straw cowboy hat and accessorized with a pair of chic sunglasses, a diamond-trimmed gold Jacquie Aiche belly chain ($8,525), several ankle bracelets and chunky gold earrings by Fiery Jewelry ($65).

She enjoyed some music with her family on board, sharing videos of herself dancing and also taking a trip down a slide into the sea before rinsing off in an outdoor shower.

Although the Yevrah Swim founder didn’t appear to be rocking one of her own designs, she did make her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut this year in a Yevrah bikini, among other striking suits.

Harvey’s shoot was part of the magazine’s 60th-anniversary  edition this May and also featured fellow SI Swim rookie stars Brittany Mahomes and Gayle King .

The SKN by LH skincare founder told SI Swim  that posing for the mag was a “dream come true.”

“I would say the three words that I would use to describe it would be manifested, surreal and perfection because it was literally a moment that I manifested,” she said.

L ori Harvey turned up the heat in a leopard-print bikini aboard a swanky yacht, making waves on her family vacation in St. Tropez Tuesday.

The 27-year-old model and swimwear entrepreneur, daughter of comedian Steve Harvey, showcased various poses while perched on a railing in a series of stunning photos she shared on her Instagram Story .

The fashionista shielded her face from the sun with a straw cowboy hat and added flair with chic sunglasses, a diamond-trimmed gold belly chain, several ankle bracelets, and chunky gold earrings.

She enjoyed music with her family on board, sharing videos of herself dancing. She also took a trip down a slide into the sea before rinsing off in an outdoor shower.

Lori Harvey’s photoshoot was a highlight of the magazine’s 60th-anniversary edition this May. The issue also featured fellow SI Swim rookie star Brittany Mahomes .

Harvey shared with SI Swim that posing for the magazine was a “dream come true.”

"I would say the three words that I would use to describe it would be manifested, surreal, and perfection. It was literally a moment that I manifested," Harvey told SI Swim .

Meanwhile, SI Swim editor-in-chief, MJ Day lavished praise on Harvey.

Judge hears arguments for restitution to families of 34 people killed in 2019 scuba boat fire

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A federal judge heard arguments Thursday over whether a boat captain should pay restitution to the families of 34 people killed in a California scuba dive boat fire in 2019, with prosecutors seeking reimbursement for funeral expenses and more.

Jerry Boylan, the captain of the Conception, was convicted last year of one count of misconduct or neglect of ship officer following a 10-day trial in federal court in downtown Los Angeles. The charge was a pre-Civil War statute colloquially known as seaman’s manslaughter that was designed to hold steamboat captains and crew responsible for maritime disasters.

Boylan, who was sentenced to four years in prison and three years of supervised release, was also ordered to pay restitution for what was the deadliest maritime disaster in recent U.S. history.

During a hearing Thursday in Los Angeles federal court, however, his attorney attempted to argue that restitution should not be paid because it had not been established that the loss of life was a direct result of Boylan’s actions the night of the fire.

Federal judge George Wu disagreed, saying it was “clearly shown that the defendant did not meet the safety regulation” of having an overnight roving patrol that could have caught the fire, a fact that was already established during Boylan’s criminal trial.

Boylan’s attorney, Gabriela Rivera, also argued that only specific expenses such as funeral costs should be eligible for restitution and should have documentation such as an invoice. She added that Boylan had no significant assets and would not be able to pay restitution, saying he is living off Social Security payments and has a negative cash flow from his bank account.

“He doesn’t have any family,” Rivera said. “He has no meaningful job prospects.”

Prosecutors disagreed, arguing that Boylan in fact had assets totaling six figures and that paying restitution would mean if he ever came into money in the future, he would have to pay the victims.

Kathi Mcllvain, whose son Charles died aboard the Conception, said it was “heartbreaking” to hear the lawyers argue over line-item costs. She and her husband Clark held each other during the hearing and shook their heads as the attorneys went back and forth.

“To nitpick over $700,” said Mcllvain, referring to one amount the defense disputed in their argument. “There’s no price you can put on someone’s life.”

Even if Boylan could not pay restitution now, “at least it should be on the record that he owes that, if he ever does come into money. He shouldn’t have killed 34 people. Then he would have been able to make a living,” Mcllvain said.

McIlvain found it distressing that Boylan was only sentenced to four years and would likely not serve it until his appeal, which could take years.

“Our son’s life was worth a lot more than that,” she said.

The judge said he will have a final decision on restitution amounts at the next hearing July 29.

Boylan is currently out on bond and must report to the Bureau of Prisons by Aug. 8. He was present at Thursday’s hearing but did not speak.

Thursday’s proceeding came nearly five years after the Sept. 2, 2019, tragedy off the central California coast, which prompted changes to maritime regulations, congressional reform and several ongoing civil lawsuits.

The Conception was anchored off Santa Cruz Island, 25 miles (40 kilometers) south of Santa Barbara, when it caught fire before dawn on the final day of a three-day excursion, sinking less than 100 feet (30 meters) from shore.

Thirty-three passengers and a crew member perished, trapped in a bunkroom below deck. Among the dead were the deckhand, who had landed her dream job ; an environmental scientist who did research in Antarctica; a globe-trotting couple; a Singaporean data scientist; and a family of three sisters, their father and his wife.

Boylan was the first to abandon ship and jump overboard. Four crew members who joined him also survived.

Although the exact cause of the blaze remains undetermined, prosecutors blamed Boylan for failing to post the required roving night watch and never properly trained his crew in firefighting. The lack of the roving watch meant the fire was able to spread undetected across the 75-foot (23-meter) boat.

But Boylan’s federal public defenders sought to pin blame on boat owner Glen Fritzler , who with his wife owns Truth Aquatics Inc., which operated the Conception and two other scuba dive boats, often around the Channel Islands.

They argued that Fritzler was responsible for failing to train the crew in firefighting and other safety measures, as well as creating a lax seafaring culture they called “the Fritzler way,” in which no captain who worked for him posted a roving watch.

The Fritzlers have not spoken publicly about the tragedy since an interview with a local TV station a few days after the fire. Their attorneys have never responded to requests for comment from The Associated Press, including on Thursday.

Three days after the fire, Truth Aquatics filed suit under a pre-Civil War provision of maritime law that allows it to limit its liability to the value of the remains of the boat, which was a total loss. The time-tested legal maneuver has been successfully employed by the owners of the Titanic and other vessels and requires the Fritzlers to show they were not at fault.

That case is pending, as well as others filed by victims’ families against the Coast Guard for what they allege was lax enforcement of the roving watch requirement.
